Swung by this quirky and unique looking coffee joint to grab an Oat Milk cold brew whilst exploring the city. Pretty yummy! The cold brew is non-sweetened and has a great medium Roast tasting earthy texture and balance.
Not the most welcoming service and kind of almost a weird vibe, I dig the non judgemental, laid back and comfortable seating area to chill and enjoy ya cold brew.

Love coffee shops like this. Great service and variety of drinks. Atmosphere is relaxed and open. Definitely quintessential Portland

My first trip to Portland and I’m glad this is the first coffee shop I try out! The staff was friendly and helpful with drink choices and recommendations.
It has tables and chair for two along the windows and back wall to sit and sip. There’s a coffee bar with outlet to plug in.
The restroom could use some work, but overall I would recommend

Nice and cozy place to go to.
Not a wide range of coffee but they do have my favorite chai and malasa latte so that worked for me.
Tried the blueberries scone. Not bad at all.
Place was warm enough to take off your outer wear and enjoy your cuppa coffee.
Here there are plugs for your lappy as well. Friendly place.
Also there are some merch here to get.
    Probably the chai concentration!

This place is your perfect funky fresh spot. I did not like what i had and that could be my fault for what i ordered (seriously it was gross). The price was pretty high for a latte. This is why I don’t do coffee joints. The atmosphere made it enjoyable. The place as this unique charm that Portland is known for. The people inside drinking coffee were as equally unique and i loves every bit of that experience.

Nice ambience, friendly staff and good coffee. I liked the setup of this place. Very clean and well maintained as well. We ordered Caramel Latte, Matcha latte, banana bread, plain croissant and pista croissant!
It’s pet friendly and has a good lobby seating but very limited patio seating.

Best in town by far! Lots of single origin coffee beans from various farms worldwide, mostly dorect trade over 10 years! Check for a single origin coffee, changes on a daily basis. Hot chocolate for kids for a $1 only for any coffee that you purchased. Free coffee for purchases of a coffee beans.

    Ah, Stumptown.

You’ll either love this place or be irritated by it. You can’t get 1 million flavors like you can at Starbucks. So don’t come here for that. I think the only syrup sweetener available is vanilla (sugar-free as well).

And I can’t really speak to the food, because I don’t eat the food here usually. I’m not a high-carb guy.

But the coffee … mmmm … the coffee … it’s the best coffee in town. It’s the perfect balance of flavor. It’s so smooth. That’s my favorite way to describe this coffee. Smooth. I drink a lot of coffee and I always stop at Stumptown when I’m in Portland. Nothing else compares.

This particular location has a very nice seating area down below with comfy couches (see my pictures). It’s perfect for a day when I’m in Portland, walking, taking pictures and enjoying the city. I come in here and I don’t want to leave. I enjoy watching the people and drinking my coffee.

I stopped by for a quick caffeine boost while exploring downtown. It was fine. The latte I had was just ok (not hot enough and the flavor was unremarkable) Also a bit pricey for what you get. The location was nice since it’s connected to the Ace hotel lobby which has nice seating (but I wasn’t sure if we were allowed to sit there).

I ordered iced mocha and it was perfect. The coffee flavor was good, it was the right blend, the right proportion of coffee and chocolate. I also bought a bag of the original hair bender coffee bean. Would recommend all coffee enthusiast to try Stumptown coffee.

A lovely little coffee / tea shop that has a little Moroccan influence. We got the Moroccan mint tea, pistachio latte, a scone and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was delicious. I love the little ornate teapot that the tea came in. The scone was just the right amount of softness inside and crispiness outside. You get a nice view of fields park if you’re sitting outside. Parking is relatively easy too.

I was searching for a quick breakfast place nearby since we were in town visiting and planned to take a day trip outside the city. That’s when Ovation caught my eye because it had hundreds and hundreds of reviews with a perfect 5-star rating. We got here at around 8:45 AM on President’s Day and there were a few street parking spots available.

They have many, many drinks so I would recommend looking up the menu beforehand and deciding (which is what I did), or else it can be overwhelming if you have to decide in the store. I had the iced Moroccan mint tea, which was super refreshing. My husband had the vanilla matcha latte and it was sickeningly sweet. Even he says so, and he is the one with the sweet tooth.

For food, I had the Supreme Biscuit (egg patty stuffed with spinach, garlic, mushrooms, tomato, and mozzarella cheese, topped with turkey sausage and layered with pepperjack and cheddar). This was good but after eating it for a while, I noticed there was some spice in it that I wasn’t a huge fan of, but couldn’t quite put my finger on what it was. I liked my husband’s sammie better. He had the Gyro Biscuit (lamb gyro, egg patty, goat cheese, roasted tomato on a biscuit). I’ve never had a breakfast sandwich with gyro in it, so I liked it. However, I don’t like goat cheese so that’s why I didn’t get this one for myself. If I could go back, I would see if they could sub the cheese for a different one.

Although the breakfast menu is small with just four sandwiches on it, I appreciate the uniqueness of it. Overall, it was still a nice breakfast. It was not overly heavy, yet filling enough to last us until a late lunch.

This spot was recommended as a good breakfast and coffee spot. I’m really torn between giving 3 and 4 stars. Basically, my vegetarian biscuit had virtually no flavor and the biscuit itself was a bit soggy. As I think back to it, it really didn’t taste like anything but flavorless stewed veggies. Loved the location on the corner and it did have outdoor seating, which in COVID days is important to me. The coffee was solid – great flavor, great temperature, didn’t wait too long. The cookie was good – nothing to write home about for better or worse. The other pastries were sold out, so that was a bummer and might signal that my review would be a bit better with a different type of flaky snack. Hmm, perhaps next time I’ll be able to give four stars.

Ovation is great! Best coffee, best dog watching in Portland, hands down! We come here every time when in Portland. Do not miss out on this gem of a coffee shop.

Had the Moroccon vanilla latte, partner had the Moroccan Matcha Tea Latte with Moroccon biscuit sandwiches, kids had the hot chocolate with toasted marshmallows whip cream with some chocolate chip cookies, everything was excellent, definitely recommended. Is next to the park so perfect to relax and enjoy a morning

One of my favorite coffee spots in Portland. I stop here anytime I’m visiting the city. And I look forward to the chance to go again whenever I can. The coffee and atmosphere are both great. The Turkish coffee and Turkish delight is a nice wake-me-up any day. And all the lattes delicious. Definitely worth stopping by! Don’t forget to tip 💸

Such a cute and creative coffee shop! The coffees were much more than coffee – the roasted cardamom in my Ethiopian Coffee was absolutely delightful. Drinks are not overly sweet and the coffee has a great flavor. The ambiance of the seating area in the bus took me back to my travels abroad. Definitely the best coffee in the Portland area.

It’s such a beautiful coffee shop and the best coffee and konafa I’ve ever had! It was nice seeing a fellow Egyptian as well. The owner is so kind and welcoming too! I’m definitely coming back here regularly. I recommend it to everyone! ☺️

We loved this place! Such yummy coffees (and fun flavors) and sweets. Got to sit up on the upper level of the bus which was fun. This place can have a line so plan accordingly. Staff is happy and helpful. We’ll be back! 🙂

My neighborhood go to coffee shop. I like their breakfast sandwiches. Needless to say, their coffee is great. They do awesome latte art each time. Staff are nice, shop is nicely decorated with many of their goods. As the Covid subsided, they lost the outside sitting area on the Marshall street, which is a responsible thing to do. After all it is a public space and we need these spaces back for parking, driving. But they still have outside seating on the side walk. I’m so happy to have this place only one or two blocks from me.

OKAYYYY! I was told to come here so many times and finally did. DAMN WAS I NOT DISAPPOINTED. The breakfast bar was SO GOOD and moist. Tasted like it was just made. The pumpkin chaii was everything Starbucks promises but then isn’t. It’s full of flavor and just amazing. The service is friendly and kind. The atmosphere is so cute. I’ll be back for sure!

I come here for Sunday phone dates with my boyfriend. The drinks are delicious, the pastries are too, and the egg sandwiches are DIVINE. The people who work here are friendly and knowledgeable, and the baristas are frankly magic. They even have black pepper and cayenne shakers for those of us who like our mochas a little spicy, which I’ve NEVER found anywhere else! Highly, HIGHLY recommend.

Had a wonderful breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. The peppers and aioli added a lot of character and the bagels was great. I also had an iced americano with hazelnut that was very tasty. I would definitely recommend to anyone hanging out in the Pearl District.
