Surprised by the quality of the breakfast here! Very very good! 💗 I love the presentation, the coffee mugs and plates, very original😍 l think l took the farmer’s daughter which was a generous portion that l could’nt finish.
Cons: it took a while for the food to come
And Please get rid of those empty hot sauce bottles on the shelf because l wasted my time trying to find a good one
(Had an slight electronic pain in my stomach after the brunch, l wonder if it’s because of eating sprouts for the first time)

If you have ever wanted a biscuit the size of an 80lb bag of concrete, this is your place. Rest assured, the biscuit was absolutely delectable, with a slight crust and soft and slightly sweet interior. Steamed eggs are delightfully fluffy as well, and one serving here is about the size of your average throw pillow. The potatoes were quite savory and yet not too heavy as they are baked, instead of fried. Their baked goods and coffee are well worth the visit. My only withholding would be their bacon. It was cooked well, but lacked a crisp or crumble expected, but hardly a setback as their real are to shine is their coffee and baked goods.

Great indoor and outdoor seating, HUGE breakfasts (good vegetarian choices like tofu), plenty of reusable silverware and mugs, and the best selection of bakery items in Boise. We had the white chocolate/raspberry scone and didn’t care for it (hypersweet and doughy) but the pumpkin spice muffin and berry shortbread were divine. Plenty of breakfast items but be prepared to add your own flavorings (salt, sauce) to make them less bland Dining in is pretty sustainable, but takeout is pretty plastic-y. Coffee is excellent. Get there early(ish): we got there 5 minutes before the line extended all the way back to the door.

I had never been here before. So, I asked one of the custumers what his favorite was there, when I was waiting in line, and he said, “everything”😁
I then ordered the biscuits with gravy. Wow! I heard about how giant the biscuits were but seeing is believing. They even had bacon bits in the middle. Great atmosphere. I also walked away with a mouthwatering lemon bar. Handicap ♿️ accessibility. I took pictures of the menu and monthly special.

Easily the best breakfast restaurant in Boise! (If you’re in Meridian, check out Terri’s Cafe.)

Big City gives enormous serving sizes, so consider splitting a meal between two people, or two meals between three people.

All the food is delicious and fresh, and the menu is fun and creative. This is one of my top 5 restaurants in Boise, and I really hope you take a morning to experience it.

    Late post.
When I’m on a trip the first thing I do is to look for a local coffee shop on Google Map. I found my initial cafe and I thought I had to check it out.
I ordered a decaf mocha and a butter croissant for breakfast. The mocha was very good, not too sweet or not too bitter. The barista made my mocha perfect! The croissant was very fresh as crispy outside and soft inside.
They also have unique merchandise in the store.

    This coffee shop.
    It’s an experience.

Due to privacy, I wasn’t able to take any photos inside. (It was a VERY busy morning. Line to the door.)

Ordered two white chocolate mochas, one with dairy free milk. So delicious! Just the right amount of sweetness.
One no bake cookie, was told it was tasty.
One molasses cookie (vegan), so perfect!

The inside is such a vibe.
There’s the coffee shop with tables on one side, then there’s the little shop and merchandise side. The items being sold might not be for everyone.. Fun to look at and appreciate none the less.

Flying M Coffeehouse is a great place to get tea/coffee and a good pastry. I ordered a chai tea, butter croissant and a potato cake. The tea and pastries were delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely dine at Flying M Coffeehouse again if I’m in Boise Idaho.

Such a sweet and welcoming environment. I absolutely love the decor, local art, the little shop and the sweet treats made with care. The six herb tea with a little bit of coconut milk, honey and cinnamon is my favorite drink to indulge in. It makes me smile to see the many folks that come in to sit and chat over work or pass me by as I draw at one of their little tables. I hope to keep coming back and try new teas and get creative in this space

Best coffee in downtown Boise. Pastries are fantastic and literally everything is delicious. Coffees are always made with flare. The vibe of this place is everything you need.

This is my first ever experience drinking coffee. So I looked on google to check out coffee places and this cute place showed up. I ordered a simple vanilla latte since I am vanilla myself in this world. 😊 The girl who helped me was super sweet and understanding. She helped me pick out this drink. I have to say it tastes very good. And the atmosphere is very welcoming.

Large space with lots of places and nooks to sit…inside and outside. The matcha was lovely and the cinnamon rolls were massive! Staff was also very friendly.

Such a fun theme throughout this coffee shop! Really cute decor with the alchemy theme from the name. Came here at 8am on a Saturday for coffee and a quick bite before getting started on errands for the day. Good selection of coffee and non-coffee beverages on the menu and lots of breakfast items. Had a 4 shot vanilla latte and avocado toast – both were very good. Lots of cozy seating options for our group of 4. We got a couch and 2 plush chairs around a coffee table by the window. Great atmosphere to sit and enjoy coffee and conversation. Will definitely be back!!

The staff were really nice and gave me a heads up that their chai is made in house so it’s not sweetened. I ordered a 16 oz with oatmilk to try it but realized too late that more than half my drink was foam, and there was no oatmilk. I also ordered the cheesy garden scramble with salsa, which wasn’t bad but too greasy for me to finish. My partner really likes their drink though, so maybe it was a big miss for me!

I’ve only been a couple times, but the vibe is great. Plenty of seating and a great place to meet. The coffee has been very tasty, but the food has been the best part. Last I had was an apple Brie Turkey sandwich. It was a little soggy on the bottom, but the flavors were amazing! Nothing a napkin can’t fix.

Met a friend here for breakfast. It was a little hard to find cause there’s not a big sign out front. The space inside is very open and spacious. It was nice and quiet, the staff was friendly but some of the outlets didn’t work so had to change tables. But it’s a great location downtown in kind of an older building. The coffee was good.

Incredible pastries and amazing coffee. Plus the staff was so nice!

I guess my expectations were too high for this place. They make the coffee beans fresh which was great but then they served it in a paper cup?!!!! Why! It ruins the taste you know.
We ordered chocolate croissant. It was not fresh. Generally you don’t have many options to choose. Few pastry and very few food options. We ordered avocado toasts and they took our order . Then they came out and said we are out and we didn’t like the other two options and asked for a refund. They refused and gave us store gift card! You cannot sell your customers something you don’t have and then don’t give their money back!

Fantastic coffee shop, offering great specialty coffee offerings from unique lattes to pour overs, a variety of non-coffee beverages, and baked goods. The staff is friendly and informative. The interior is clean and very well designed. The cafe is great to sit in and enjoy the nice music, but outdoor seating is also available. They serve coffee by form and function, and they offer a nice variety of that coffee in whole beans, with the option to be ground. I enjoy this shop every time I can when I visit boise, and would highly recommend it.

Lovely breakfast and atmosphere. The avocado toast was the best I’ve had anywhere. Coffees were delicious and the counter staff were super sweet and welcoming. We accidentally took someone else’s sandwich and were mortified. But they were so nice about it even though we were “those people” by mistake. They handled it so graciously. Definitely coming back.

I had a really good experience here. It was very busy and hard to find a spot to sit but once I did, the atmosphere was relaxing. The coffee is excellent. I had an iced latte with coconut flavor. Better than Starbucks for sure. The price is very reasonable, about $5.50 for the 20 oz. They don’t require masks so keep that in mind. The employees were not masked. The staff was very friendly and attentive though. The parking lot was a little crowded but it was easy enough to park at the library and walk over. I look forward to my next visit.

What a cute little find at 6am! I LOVED the vibes here – super cozy, plant crazy, and spacious! Bagel & veggie cream cheese ($4) was SO GOOD and fresh. Got an iced americano and latte ($4 for 16oz). Pretty affordable for this day and age!

Caffeina was awesome! Great place for coffee, breakfast/lunch and to work. Lots of space and tables, indoor and outdoor. I think they serve beer as well, talk about a Friday afternoon remote office 🤗 staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and coffee were amazing as well. This might be the new go-to.

My mother and I both got iced breve mochas, and she got the avotoast with added sprouts and tomato. there was a woman (guest, not worker) sitting with her feet on the table.. they were just getting their deliveries of bakery items, and they looked awesome, we just didnt get any. the whipped cream from both canisters were mostly liquid as opposed to whipped.. 🙁
