This coffee spot is a must when traveling or visiting downtown Columbus. The coffee shop is inside of a historical bank and most of the inside seems original. Really interesting if you are into history or architecture.
The coffee was also pretty amazing, alternative mills were offered such as soy and almond but no oat milk on my visit. I had the Monkey Business which is made with banana flavored syrup and is super yummy. I recommend giving it a try if you love tropical flavors and something a little different in your coffee.
This location also offers many food items that include bakery treats, wrapped items Togo and also made fresh breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches were also really yummy and made to order.
Great little place to stop for a quick coffee or meeting with friends and/or colleagues.

First time here. Had a bacon, egg and cheese on an herb biscuit, turkey sandwich and hummus platter…$22. No coffee, although they have a multitude of choices, I have my own particular place I like to go. As for the food it was okay, nothing super special about it. Sat outside in the shade which was nice but the inside had a really weird and somewhat foul smell…I expected food or coffee smell but it wasn’t. Cute downtown spot for drinking coffee and sitting around and chatting if that’s your thing. I may come back to try a specialty frozen coffee one day but who knows.

Really liked this coffee shop, we were in town for just a few hours and had to stop. I enjoyed a iced latte in one of the original bank vaults. Place was very clean, service was amazing and coffee was tasty. Hope to be back to try again soon.

This is a must go coffee shop. If you are in Columbus Georgia for anything you need to stop by this coffee shop. The food is wonderful. I had a breakfast sandwich on a perfect buttermilk biscuit. They’ve transformed the bank faults into sitting rooms so it was very comfortable and it’s bustling all day long. We loved it.

Grabbed an iced coffee during my visit and was inspired by the pastry case to snag a lemon blueberry scone. They offered to warm it up for me, but I declined. My only complaint is that this location was pretty busy and low on half and half at the coffee station.

If you are in a hurry then go to a different location. Usually Starbucks lines move quickly. Can honestly say this was the longest I have ever sat in a Starbucks drive thru line. 27 minutes total with only 5 cars in front of me.

We avoid this location at all costs. While I don’t believe customers or management should be running employees into the ground, the employees here are never in a hurry whether there are three people working or ten people working and it’s the same slow pace whether there are two or twenty cars in the drive-thru. The service is slow, the drive-thru is wrapped around the building pretty any time you go, and they’re generally out of things. The latter is my biggest beef with Starbucks as a corporation- at the end of the day, Starbucks is fast food yet they tend to run out of everything almost like they want to appear to be a “baked fresh daily” establishment. There is really no reason to run out of anything as Starbucks generally microwaves their food items.

Employees are friendly and very hard working. However, they are literally almost always sold out of everything, including coffee. The store is in chaos most of the time with a million people waiting and the drive thru line wrapped around the building. Very frustrating. I wish they would build a new one even further on the north end of town. This store is not designed for the sheer volume of orders/customers it has to cater to.

They were fully staffed but had no system for making orders. We had to wait 45 minutes for our mobile order, and all drive thru orders went ahead of ours. We had 4 drinks, and there was a 20 minute wait between our first 2 drinks and the last 2.
By Angel Bermudez (a month ago)
This has to be the slowest Starbucks I’ve visited. Each time I come here I have to wait forever. This time I did a mobile order thinking this would be faster, nope… still waiting 45+ minutes later.

I’ll bite the bullet and drive across town next time.

The mobile ordering has really gone down in the last couple of months. We have always chosen this Starbucks because of how quick and friendly they are. The last couple of months mobile orders have been 30+ minutes past the estimated time, everyday. I understand getting busy sometimes, but this is an everyday thing.

I go for the coffee and they are good at the coffee. Service is quick and friendly. In all the years I’ve been visiting this Starbucks I’ve only ever had 1 bad cup, and they quickly remedied the problem for me without hesitation. I prefer the drive-thru though because the inside is frequently dirty – I know that they are busy, and customers can be slobs, but it’s frequently difficult to find a clean table.

Worst Starbucks in existence. Always takes more than 40 minutes for a mobile order. They have no idea how to keep track of mobile orders. Customers are always waiting forever. Additionally, the staff is not well trained – they mess up orders all the time. They need a better manager and better training. The staff, itself, is good – they just lack training and knowledge.

The line is always crazy long in the mornings, around lunchtime, and sometimes after work ends for a lot of people. Definitely order 30 minutes before you need your drink if you need it at those times.

If you go to pickup your drink during a rush time, park in a different parking lot to avoid getting blocked in by the ‘wrap around the building line,’ if you’re in a rush. I did that once….

    The staff is very friendly.

They’ve only messed my order up once out of maybe like 10 times so I actually wasn’t too bothered by it. Plus it was during that early morning rush.

Try the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino with 2 pumps of extra Toasted White Chocolate Mocha sauce!

Wow. Ordered on the app and it took 50 minutes for them to make my order. Waited about a half hour in the store for our drinks. They need to figure out a better system because I was not the only one in there who had been waiting that long.

Cars were wrapped around the building for drive through so we walked in and were the only ones in there. Staff was super polite and they were well staffed. Good job, SR85 Starbucks!!!

It would be my first choice if it was closer to my house. Coffee has always been perfect & the team is very nice. The parking lot is a driver’s test of turns, but flow is decent for a the footprint size.

    Liked Starbucks coffee.
I usually get a white chocolate mocha with Hazelnut.
Don’t understand why most of the time it tastes the same as the first one I ordered. Every once in a while I will get one that seems like it is bitter or no sweetness added. I finally put a container of sugar & stirrer in car.

As many times as we’ve been to this Starbucks and many others, we were given a rationed tall apple juice. We always order this for our 4 year old – with no ice – and for the first time in two years, we received a half-full cup of juice. Why? We were told it’s because we didn’t get ice in it. The young man who chose to make today his rationing day brought us to the quick decision to never patronize this Starbucks again.

They’re smaller than the new Starbucks on macon but work so much faster! I sat in line for almost 25 min for an online order that I had to just leave since I had somewhere to be. At this location in 25 min I would of had my order and would of been 5 min from my destination with the same amount of cars

Was on my list while traveling through Georgia, and I’m so glad I was able to stop by.

Saturday morning vary busy but the team of 3 baristas were on top! 👏🏻

Working hard and doing a great job at communicating, getting drinks out and keeping the quality

Also the sandwiches were really good!

    Thank you.

Found this place while I was on a work trip. Their staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Wonderful espresso as I ordered the Americano. Breakfast sandwiches are made with fresh eggs and the chicken on mine was wonderful. Highly recommend this place.
