A cute, bright spot for coffee. They have plenty of hand crafted drinks and merchandise for you to buy if you’re feeling extra-inspired. I came in on the Fourth of July and the line was quite long, but the staff seemed to have everything under control and our order was all taken care of without issue. Their espresso was tasty. I ordered an almond croissant from their pastry cabinet but was disappointed to find that there was no almond cream in the middle, like a typical almond croissant would. Their Lala Dream Toast was well made with a thick and wide slice of sourdough and a unique combination of pesto, avocado, cheese, and chili oil. They had indoor seating available as well as the front porch, and side porch with appropriate shade provided by umbrellas.

I made a last minute stop at this cute coffee shop that I saw on my way to get an oil change & I did not know the amazing experience I would be walking into. I went to the Oak Lawn location and first, the coffee shop is so bright and aesthetically pleasing. Second, my coffee was amazing! I’m a lover of floral coffees so I had the lavender bloom latte, so good! However, I was blown away by the customer service. It was my first time visiting so one of the sweet girls was very friendly as she recommended items and I even received a free cookie for being a first timer. I started observing and saw that their aprons said, kind army. Literally, they ARE a kind army, super sweet, super welcoming, such a great experience! The cherry on top was one of the girls coming to me and giving me a gift for being an amazing person. I was gifted a pair of Kendra Scott earrings for being a good human, what an experience! I will definitely return and I would definitely recommend this coffee shop. Definitely, one of a kind.

Great coffee shop to try. A great place to hangout with friends or family for a quick coffee date. The place is well decorated and so vibrant inside. The staff is extremely friendly and give out great recommendations. Parking can be hard to find though. The prices are very affordable. A cool experience and a place worth trying.

Very impressed with the branding of this cool coffee shop. The cups pop out. They have their logo placement around the shop and most impressed the cause of giving back to the community. They train foster kids, please be patient.

It was my first time visiting this place. I love exploring new places in Dallas ❤️ And I’m so glad that I ordered The Queen Avocado toast because WOW. 🤤 it is definitely FRESH avocado smashed with the perfect amount of delicious seasoning! I also ordered the perfect latte which was quite tasty, but I want to try a different one next time:) the only problem was I was hoping to be able to sit down and eat inside, however there wasn’t enough seating area. ( it was too cold to sit outside today) Other than that, I will be back again in the future! 😁

First time going to Fiction, and I loved the drink. I got the 1980 and I loved the drink! The espresso was super smooth, and was not too acidic. I loved my pastries as well! The baristas were super friendly. The music was really great, and it was the perfect volume while I was doing homework. I am for sure adding them to my regular spot.

Went here with some friends after eating at Dahlia next door. We had the white chocolate peppermint mocha. It was a seasonal drink and oh so good. The atmosphere was very cozy and I hope to go back when I’m in the area again.

We finally found an excellent coffee shop near us!! Small but adorable, Fiction Coffee has a very simple, easy-to-read menu and lots of food options. I tried a vanilla Latte with almond milk, hot and iced, and a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. My husband got an iced decalf mocha. We both loved our beverages and were able to take advantage of the free wifi and cute restrooms. Customer service was super friendly. We’ll definitely return!

My long black americano was delicious. The coffee beans are high quality and have a fantastic taste. The baristas are skilled at pulling shots. They unfortunately were not doing pour over at the time of my visit, but were otherwise perfectly accommodating & friendly!

I also had a bagel, I would definitely order one again. Paired perfectly with my coffee.

Seems to be a great atmosphere for Christmas as they’ve put extra work into setting up decorations. There were also lots of people working from computers and the overall vibe was great. Looking forward to returning and trying their specialty Christmas drinks.

One of my husband’s and my favorite coffee spots! We tried two of their specials and they were both delicious! Clueless cereal latte was the bomb! Same as the pulp fiction! Super unique! Mallory was the most friendly and attentive! We’ll continue coming back! Highly recommend!

They make good coffee and drinks. It is a cool, hip place to get a good drink and chill for awhile. This store has a very unique layout and it fits the Houndstooth vibe. I have had the coffee, cafe au lait, and the cold brew. They were all smooth and delicious. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. You pay a little more, but it’s worth it.

Super cute spot, coffee is awesome, and they’re really fast! You can even choose which bean style for your espresso…which is amazing. There are two small buildings with an outdoor middle area.

I stopped by here with my wife for the first time and I really enjoyed the coffee and conversation with the barista. They did a great job at explaining their menu and different blends. There is not a ton of indoor seating, so this is more of a To-Go place unless it’s summer.

Easily my favorite coffee cafe in all of DFW. I live 40 miles away but whenever I charge my Tesla.. I always walk over. If you haven’t been and you love REAL coffee.. you should stop.

Great coffee/espresso! Very nice that the had 2 options for espresso beans. The single origin was really good! Great space. Friendly baristas. Better parking is on the east side of the building, just for reference.

I love coffee shops with character and this shop has plenty of it! Really cool vibes with a simple, yet unique, layout. Great staff who’s very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The latte I got was great! Love the presentation and the flavor. Very smooth experience. One of the best lattes I’ve recently tried!

    Highly recommended! Great job y’all!

Traveling through Dallas and couldn’t be happier with the choice to snag coffee from LTO! Adam, the owner, welcomed us and commandeered our drinks after a few well-played questions about our coffee preferences… and he NAILED IT! Iced oat milk latte, on the stronger side, with honey and cinnamon – trust me (and Adam), this one is spot on! Culture, efficiency and excellent coffee! Will absolutely make this a destination spot next time we’re in town.

Plenty of parking, and they got about 6 different tables to sit at.

The barista was really helpful with giving suggestions and customizations like 3 shots or 2, milk types ect

Got the iced oat milk latte for $5.75 after tax and it’s not bad. Coffee flavor is not exactly my type, more on the light side. And there was not enough syrup. I just dropped by to grab and go. But not my kinda place to sit at for hours for work

Great coffee awesome service and cool vibes! I love their iced mocha, I’ve tried it with regular milk and oat milk both are so good!

Consistently the tastiest espresso latte I’ve had in all of Dallas. If you’re looking for a latte with that strong coffee flavor like when you eat coffee ice cream, you will absolutely love the lattes here. Coffee as one would expect coffee to taste like. The vanilla latte is great, and the mocha is phenomenal! No bitterness, all very smooth like a hug in a cup whether served hot or iced. What I especially love is that although most other coffee beans elsewhere usually give me those caffeine shakes and headaches, the beans at LDU do not at all Praise the Lord!

Such a cute coffee shop! Came to Dallas for a weekend trip and ended up grabbing coffee from here every morning. I tried 3 different toasts on their menu and the banana one was definitely my favorite! It does get busy at times so keep that in mind if you are looking for something super fast.

Check out their specials with their house made syrups!

We found street parking and walked in. They close at 6pm. Their tables are nice and chairs are all pretty. Internet speeds are 7/1.

A SOLID drink. I got the maple brown sugar latte with oatmilk. And each piece of the latte just stands out yet blends into perfection! No burn, smooth. And good sweetness to it!

I would for sure go back to get some studying done!

The creme brûlée latte was extremely tasty without being overly sweet. I ordered this and a single shot of espresso. The espresso tasted great without an acidic after taste. I enjoyed the vibe, it was pretty busy when we got there, but we
Were still able to hold a conversation without having to yell. 10/10 would recommend.

I REALLY like the latte flavors and place has good vibes. Good spot to work in. Only thing I wish it had was most breakfast options. Maybe a breakfast sandwich or burrito.

Avocado & Almond Butter Banana toasts were spectacularrrr!
The flavors gave what they had to give. They were both crispy and light.
The Avocado toast was NOT BASIC & so different and yummy.
Coffee was deeeelish and the espresso was a slay.
Inside aesthetic was cute and location was clean!
Lastly, the staff was super sweet.
