I came into Greensboro, looking for a place to chill for a few hrs until my buddies arrived into town. This Starbucks served me well with the three coffee I ordered and employees were friendly and attentive. Internet worked great, seating was opens, atmosphere was inviting, and coffee was on point. Highly recommend.

Stopped by the Wendover location for a Chai Tea Latte with almond milk and unfortunately it was very watered down. It’s disappointing because I had a taste for it and what I got made me want to toss the whole thing. On the upside, the service was great, I was offered water while I waited and they were very polite.

Hopefully the drink will be better if I stop by again.

The service was a little slower than I’m used to, but the staff was kind and did what they could. The store was clean and there was constantly someone going out to wipe down tables after customers left their seats. My iced mocha was delicious and we’ll worth the wait!

For employees that make $15 an hour to make coffee you would think they would be a little nicer. The young Hispanic girl with 7 piercings in each ear acted like I pis in her cheerios because I asked politely for a pack of sugar. All of the employees here are angry and disgruntle. The vibe they are putting out is very unsettling. Obviously there is a Managment problem.

I love this place. I usually come here first thing in the morning before work. Staff is always friendly and eager to help. A lot of the time I grab tea at north main high point location and bring there but this location makes me want to buy the whole store how inviting they are.

This was my first visit to Green Joe’s. I was very impressed with the setup inside, several different seating areas, fun wall decor and great assortment of merchandise. So many reviews spoke highly of the chai so as an avid tea drinker I had to try it with almond milk–very nice blend of spice and milk. 👍🏿

I hope to try the loose leaf tea next time. Also had a cheese danish, very tasty!!

My friend and I decided to give this place a try since we’ve both never been. I was extremely happy with my experience. During our time there I ordered two coffees, the Chocolate Cheesecake and the Triple C, and a coffee cake. A few things I liked are; they have milk substitutes, they offer to warm your food, they have a reward program, and they sell coffee beans on site. There was a steady flow of people coming and going, but there was always one or two seats open. I can’t wait to go back and try out their Italian Sodas.

Such a cute place to hang out and get work done. The decor is amazing and all the natural light from the many windows makes for a nice experience.

    Service: 5/5
Very friendly and polite workers. Felt welcomed into the store immediately 🙂

    Coffee: 4/5
Specialty lattes are delicious and have an interesting variety of flavors! Green Joe’s shines on the sweet / flavored drink front. If you like Starbucks-type drinks, this place is a 5/5.
For the “coffee / espresso aficionado,” the espresso was a little overly roasted and bitter, and the flavor of the beans generic. Neither outstanding nor offensive, 3/5

Note: didn’t try their pastries, but they had a wide variety of both sweet and savory pastries that looked amazing.

Nice place to get coffee. They have many varieties. Their menu of lattes and specialty drinks is not as vast as Starbucks but I requested a cafe mocha for my hubby and they gladly made it. They do have a larger variety of coffee to choose from though. I also like that they offer whole bean coffee for purchase. They also carry many varieties of tea such as Japanese Sencha and Bangkok Green Tea. They had some gorgeous looking desserts there but I didn’t try any. I’m sure they are fantastic though! Service was great.

I’ve been an off/on customer of Green Joe’s for many years now. Prior to the pandemic, I lived abroad, and would always make an effort to come in when I was home. Now that I’m back, it’s my workspace away from home as a freelancer.

The environment is great for work. There is a lot of space, many seating options (bar, small tables, large tables for groups, a lounge area, outdoor seating), and it’s not hard to find a spot. The WiFi is great most of the time. The music is up my alley and also not too loud if you’d rather tune it out.

The baristas are always very friendly and willing to chat if you’re up for it. Even when they’re incredibly busy and dealing with perhaps not so patient customers, they have a great attitude.

The coffee is usually great, certainly better than Starbucks and probably the best option on all of Battleground. However, I find the quality to be inconsistent sometimes. One day you’ll have an excellent latte with all the lovely robust notes of the espresso coming through. Some days it tastes almost weak, like there isn’t enough espresso or there is too much syrup. I’ve noticed new faces behind the counter pretty frequently over the last months, so I don’t know if they are having a turnover issue that causes this inconsistency or what.

At any rate, I would say the coffee is great 80% of the time, which means I will keep showing up as long as I’m on this side of Greensboro. I’m only pointing this out because years back the quality was on par or above some downtown options, and now it feels that’s slipping a bit, which I really don’t want to happen as this is my regular spot. This slight bit of criticism comes from a place of love!

I was happy to find this place today – inside the shop is comfortable, homey, and colorful, full of art and sunshine. You’ll feel right at home if you were ever that kid that hung out in the art teacher’s room during lunch in school. The coffee was tasty and full of flavor, and the cheese danish I got was huge and flaky, with just the right amount of powdered sugar in every bite. I’ll be back for more coffee for sure!

Cool artsy vibe, great spot to hang out or work! I visited here on my first trip to Greensboro, and was pleasantly surprised by how easy parking was downtown. The Ginger Turneric Latte was hands down the best golden milk type drink I’ve had anywhere. Friendly staff and solid music 💛

This coffee shop has the best vibe and great coffee! They host wonderful events, comedy every month, open mics, and so much more. There is a ton of seating and it’s a very welcoming, LGBTQ+ friendly place. I love it here and want everyone to know how wonderful it is! Not a place to get food options, but they have coffee, tea, beer, and wine options.

I love this place! I was trying to surprise my wife for our 16th anniversary ans was searching high and low for a place to hold our cake. “The Green Bean” was the only place that came through on such short notice and they delivered, without them things could not have went as planned. Kyle was such a great help my wife had no clue and and was totally surprised. I can not say thank you enough to everyone who helped me achieve and accomplish this special surprise on our 16th anniversary 💖

Coffee here is pretty strong. They have a decent variety of non-coffee drinks and some bakery items. The space is nice and clean and the workers are pretty helpful/nice. Great for studying/working as they have a lot of tables of various sizes and outlets throughout although it can be a bit loud. The store has two individual restrooms and an outdoor space with a few tables.

Perfect blends and tastes. I just started trying their products. I never knew of the company nor location. Starbucks getting kinda old and they stay stressed out. I love the atmosphere of this spot. The staff always super nice. Kudos to staff and management!!

Love it!!! Wish I lived closer because I would be here weekly if I did. The spiced chai tea latta was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The customer service was awesome. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the cashier was patient and helpful as I decided on my order. There was a chilled vibe that morning as people were reading or on laptops as they sipped on their favorite drink.

Great place for a coffee, breakfast or treats. They offer hot and cold coffees and teas as well as espresso. Staff was courteous and I got my order right away.
They have inside and outside seating.
Only negative I observed was trash ( straw wrappers napkins) on the floor around tables.

Such an amazing place!! It’s very calming inside and the space is perfectly set up for all the cats. Only a certain number of people are allowed in at a time, which means it doesn’t get crowded and there’s plenty of cats to interact with. Some are more social than others but all are equally sweet. I had so much fun playing with all the kittens! Luna was my favorite 💜 the coffee was delicious and I bought a ton of cute cat-themed jewelry and gifts. This is such a great non-profit that is worthy of all the business and donations it can get!

So worth it! The cats are adorable and so friendly, we played for the full hour. I would definitely recommend booking online and arriving a few minutes early. The cafe has really good drinks, not a big food selection though.

Oh goodness this place is incredible. And so inexpensive. We will definitely be going back. Brought my cat loving husband here for his birthday and we had champagne and just played with cats for an hour. There were kittens and older cats which we loved and the owner was so kind and made nice conversation with us. Loved it loved it loved it and can’t wait to return!

A friend and I went here on 2/16/22 and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. That management was very friendly and helpful, our drinks tasted really good, the prices of the merch were good, and most importantly , the cats were really enjoyable to be around. There were probably around a dozen cats spread out throughout the building which were really enjoyable to hang out with them and play with. For two people who find cats to be really relaxing, this place was definitely purr-fect. Will for sure be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely wonderful place to hang out. Started off the morning with coffee and adoptable cats. Everyone here is so friendly. For a nice, relaxing start to the day, I highly recommend. Also booking online makes it easier and guarantees that you’ll get in.
