Amazing little coffee shop! Plenty of different styles of seating, and a pet friendly patio!! The gentleman made an amazing tea latte, and cute coffee with art! Their food was also amazing! The raspberry turnover is amazing! I’d recommend stopping here!

Great place to grab a cup coffee and study or read. They have a small, but very inviting outdoor patio that is shaded 🙌
They brew with Intelligentsia coffee, which is quite exceptional coffee, if you are familiar with quality coffee brands.
Unfortunately, the baristas come off as snobs about the way they make their coffee; this made the experience at Big Dog less memorable. You don’t need to be snobby to be knowledgeable about coffee.
Overall, the coffee was good and I would maybe go back, but the customer service was not pleasant.
Everything else aside, they do have cool art and this coffee house interior is very comfortable like a coffee house should be.

I love local coffee shops and I am so glad my husband found this one to try. The style of the shop is absolutely perfect for me. Plants and art !!!! Now to discuss the coffee. Superb! I also tried iced loose leaf tea with lavender and some baked foods. Everything was so good!

A pleasant place for a morning brew, especially on their patio! There’s the standard coffee menu that you’d find at any Cafe, along with handmade Italian soda and a pretty decent tea collection.

They’ve also got some pastries, an oatmeal bar, and a limited selection of bagels if you’re looking for a small bite.

Conveniently, they also sell bags of intelligentsia coffee, though there’s a slight markup from what you might find at other stores.

There’s 2hr parking on the street, and its walking distance to Southside works if you need something at REI.

This is a great place in the south side of Pittsburgh for coffee and conversation with a great atmosphere.
I tried a plain latte and a caramel that were both great.

It’s like a candy shop but for coffee & tea lovers ~ the variety makes it really fun.
    Things you should know:
We parked on the street nearby. There’s fair amount of availability at mid-morning but parking is packed by noon.
They have machines to allow you to grind your coffee beans here and scales so you can get the ratio you want.
Haven’t had a chance to try the beans yet but I’ll assume they’re full of flavor
Fair amount of people coming and going

Great coffee and FANTASTIC customer service! My wife and I originally went to La Prima Espresso first and what a terrible experience we had. Their rude customer service and mediocre coffee made us decide to go right over to Allegheny and give them a chance (even though everyone speaks up about La Prima and nothing about Allegheny). We mentioned that we wanted a “do-over” because of the poor experience we had and they were so kind to offer us a free coffee on the house. We tipped them the price of the coffee, but THAT is customer service! They gave us recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Thank you to three gentlemen who made our day and the coffee was absolutely delicious!

Was visiting the Strip District with family. Dropped in for a coffee. What a great place. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Love the coffee. You can get various types to take home. Roasted fresh. Enjoyed seeing the roaster. Was surprised that they have cold coffee on tap. The triple espresso is great as is the caramel latte. Will be back when I return to town.

One of my drivers recommend this coffee company. After buying the Colombian roast, it was one of the best coffee I’ve had, reordered some more and couple other varieties as well.

My sisters and I made a pit stop here while waiting to be seated at a restaurant down the street, and I’m glad we popped in! The staff was very friendly and I loved the atmosphere, the location, and the wood accent furniture.

I went with a simple vanilla cold brew with a bit of cream and it was good! My sister also got a black coffee and enjoyed the flavor. Since we were only in town for the weekend, I decided to grab some coffee beans they were selling to take back home with me!

Stopped in for a cuppa on a beautiful fall day in Lower Lawrenceville at Espresso A Mano. Inner city vibes, friendly and welcoming. My flat white was perfect! Thanks ! It’s an open environment at the front. Ample seating indoor and outside. Great coffee!

This place was great! The staff was extra friendly and quick. The almond croissant was amazing so do yourself a favor and get one! There is parking on the street and it’s .25 for 15 minutes so that was nice. Overall a lovely cafe and I recommend it. Just a note. I believe the prices listed on Google are inaccurate but their prices seem standard for any cafe around.

This was the best hot chocolate I’ve had in a while. It was so creamy and delicious! It wasn’t overly sweet; just the right amount! I had it made with almond milk. I will definitely remember them the next time I have a craving for some hot chocolate.

I love the atmosphere of their place, I wish I could stay and had my coffee.
The taste of coffee was perfect and it had a great temperature.
    Definitely go back again.

I stopped for breakfast with my wife. Honestly, it was one of the most delicious breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. It tasted fresh and was very bold with flavor. The coffee was standard Cafe coffee. Wait, staff was top-notch. They were working quickly and efficiently while also being super friendly. Good vibes. Would suggest!

Love this little coffee shop! Friends recommended this place near the strip district and very glad we came.

Wife had the smore mocha and I had the plain drip. I normally don’t drink my coffee black, but their coffee was very smooth.

They had a fantastic variety of unique mixers for drinks and a great selection in their retail area.

The ambiance was also very nice, spacious yet homey.

5/5 will be back next time in Pittsburgh!

Great place to refuel in the Strip District.
    Things you should know:
There’s street parking along The Terminal but it fills up quick
Rich & dense. If you don’t like your coffee as strong, they have plenty of milk & alternative options.
Very very busy ~ business is good

Very good cup of coffee. Better than a lot of places around the hotel. We started at Indigo Hotel and they would not do room service. And breakfast was not included, so walking across the street to this place was a great alternative.

It’s a lot bigger inside than I thought, also beautiful interior w/ outside seating available. They have a good variety of coffee and food, and customer service was knowledgeable and knew how to explain the menu. It’s a cute place to stop by if you’re in the mood for coffee and quick snack

Been coming here for a couple years now – this place is a staple in the neighborhood. They serve light food and great coffee, plus they partner with local food trucks to offer heavier food outside 3 days a week.

The drinks themselves are pretty basic fare – no crazy flavors like Starbucks and Dunkin. Prices are also slightly higher. However, they put a lot of effort into quality and offer some unique seasonal specials, which makes the trade-off well worth it.

Be forewarned that there is limited seating inside (only 15/ish seats total)! There is also seating outside + across the street. You may have to share a table with a stranger, but all the staff and patrons are super friendly.

Tiny place, big win. Pastries are delightful and in addition to a whole line of coffees, teas, and other beverages, they offer Pittsburgh Juice(s). The staff are friendly, thr space is welcoming, and the regulars are always happy to share a table.

My kid had a chai latte and really enjoyed it. Staff treated him well. Small, no frills interior. Love that they have large quantity cold brew coffee available. If I lived in this area, I would definitely visit. Rather, I enjoyed the beautiful park next door while my kid enjoyed their drink.

Charming cafe in the North Side with a comfortable, welcoming vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the espresso was rich and tasty with fruity notes. I had a cappuccino and a black coffee, both of which were excellent. There is limited seating, however, and it was difficult to find a place to sit even on a Tuesday afternoon. Regardless, I’m looking forward to my next visit! I highly recommend stopping by.
