I got a cappuccino and breakfast burrito. Man was the coffee PIPING hot! It’s a good thing I didn’t drop even an ounce on me or there was about to be another million dollar McDonald’s coffee lawsuit! The cappuccino was good otherwise. The breakfast burrito honestly lacked a ton of flavor and seemed to be somewhat thrown together. It still filled me up though, which was the goal. The inside of this place though is artsy and has an accepting/Pride theme, which is super awesome, with plenty of art and plants. It definitely has a nice vibe to study at or read a book.

Great little local joint. First time here, the guy was super nice and patient while I figured out the drink I wanted. Grabbed the pesto, tomato avacado toast…made with local bread it is legit!! Delicious and great coffee too! Shop and support local …this little place is a GEM!! DEFINITELY give it a try!

The coffee options were vast and wide! Very quick and easy. Baristas had great recommendations. A very socially accepting place all around! Amazing art everywhere and very environmentally cautious. Would return! We got cold brew and a honey latte with cinnamon and other sweetness.

Love this Coffee house! Staff are so friendly and helpful – and creative. Artwork all around is so fun! Safe space to talk openly. Outlets for charging everywhere. Wireless. Roomy inside. Outdoor seating – covered and further across lot for a little more privacy. Enter right side/exit – drive around back to left side of building. A few spots available in front and paid parking across the street or free if you are ok with a stroll down the street. Everything I have ordered here has been great – love the Aloha bowl!! 😋

This place is amazing! Not only do they have delicious drinks and a great selection of food, but they have an inviting and inclusive environment. You can tell everyone employed here puts their love and soul into it and it shows. Everything from drink to atmosphere, I adore this place and highly recommend it – support local! Hands down, anything you get here is leaps and bounds better than Starbucks.

I love getting my cortado from coffee garden. They have delicious snacks as well and quiches. I like their cornflake cookie and their cakes are pretty delicious. Overall an awesome place to go to with a fun environment. Nice outdoor seating as well.

    Beyond my expectation.
My double shot espresso from this morning was very proper: thick crema, temperature, scent, and flavor. Good start of the day. Thank you.

Great service, neat vibes, reasonable price, and great espresso. Absolutely recommended.

I wrote my first book here and loved every minute doing so in this bustling-yet-serene haven for creatives (I spy Chinese calligraphy, watercolor painting, graphic design, writing, music composition), socialites, introverts, extroverts, students, and daily grinders doing their thang. The coffee and treats are superb. Tea and pastry selection generous. The baristas and staff make charming, fast friends and remember my order down to ounces, type of nut milk, and roast preference. Buy beans there and they’ll freshly grind them for you while including a complimentary cup with the purchase. No other cafe will do once you settle in at Coffee Garden.

Great coffee shop. Only thing I don’t get is why they close so early. It’s not just them, it feels like there are no late night coffee shops anywhere in SLC.

My eggnog chai was the best one I have had. The lemon bar was on point. Not a fan of the chocolate cake, it was like eating dark chocolate in the form of cake. The cheesecake was good. I was indifferent about the coffee cake. Definitely going back tomorrow for eggnog chai.

Warehouse style coffee place that’s all in on roasting green with their large solar panels at the top.

Only later I found out they have a whole extra floor with seating.

Really stylish place. And very very nice coffee. Selling decaf as well. That’s a bonus. And they have some nice pastries too. Scones.

Lots of people found their way there as a working spot, so you’ll see quite some laptops at daytime. They have a large event space as well that you can rent.

    Great vibe here.

Big fan of all 3 Publiks Locations- The coffee is great and the atmosphere is top quality. For studying, this is the best of the 3 locations.

There is an upstairs area with comfy chairs and desks to study, as well as two specific study rooms for students. Staff is friendly and welcoming and you feel at ease ordering.

Will be coming back here to do some more homework!

Amazing space with great coffee. The vibe felt very open, stylish, and welcoming at the same time. Staff was incredibly friendly, and the coffee was very tasty. There are two floors, both of which seemed like great spaces to read or get things done in. There was also a space adjacent to the cafe that you can rent out for events or gathering.

Popular coffee shop and co-working space. We went at 10 am on a Tuesday and there were only a couple of seats left. There were LOTS of people co-working there. It’s definitely the biggest coffee shop I’ve been to, and has that industrial vibe to it.

I got the honest John, which was advertised as having slightly sweet notes while still tasting like coffee. It was ok (then again, that’s how I feel about most coffee). It was relatively expensive (I think I paid $6 for a 12 oz plus 20% tip), but that’s fairly standard for coffee shops.

Will I come again? Probably not. I like smaller, cozier, and quieter coffee shops.

We arrived just after open. Quiet/calm atmosphere with plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs.

I ordered a black coffee which was good. I also had avocado toast. They put a heaping mound of avocado on a thick Texas toast size slice of bread and seasoned it with salt/pepper and olive oil. The bread was soft and fresh.

We also each got a maple orange scone. It didn’t remind me of a scone, but that’s not necessarily bad. It was crusty/crunchy on the outside, soft and cakey on the inside.

They had plenty of whole bean coffee for purchase as well as mugs, cups, t-shirts, and totes – great for out-of-towners like ourselves.

The ladies working the counter were friendly and funny. The location is a bit removed from the busy part of town. If I lived here, I’m positive I’d visit a couple times a week.

This store looks kind of old and has its own vibes. The front part of the store is decorated with lots of tables and the back part of store is kind of empty. You can even see their storage that’s hidden behind some sort of fabric with cool patterns. The tables are big enough for you do to homework or play board games. Different types of desserts are available.

This is a good place to grab a late cup of coffee, which a lot of restaurants and coffee shops close so early in Salt Lake City. Lots of college students hanging out; everyone looked friendly. Staff were friendly, but the coffee was not that great. I got a dirty chai coffee, it was too water down, it had a lot of ice so made it more water down. The cold brew coffee wasn’t that great either. Looking for a late night coffee, this will be a good place to stop by, support locals. Parking is in the back of the building and there’s a back door entrance.

It’s been around for along time. Went 10 years ago and was back in town so I stopped in. The staff was super sweet and talkative. They have a good variety of “store bought” pastries with zero Gluten free or dairy free options. My large latte with oat milk (silk brand) was ok. I didn’t drink most of it. Good vibe though, nice spacious spot for working, hanging or hanging out.

My chai tea latte was pretty good…. Outside of that, I’m a bit hesitant to recommend this place

I parked in the back, and upon walking in, it looked like I was in a warehouse, that had fallen apart.
It just seems grungy, as if it hasn’t ever been updated… It just looked as if there was dirty flooring with an unorganized/uncleaned enchantment….and I wouldn’t be too comfortable visiting this place in the future.

Coffee is delicious, cheesecake was delicious, really comfortable laid back vibes. Desperately needs more outlets or power banks, there are so few and most tables don’t have access to power so coming here to study requires some waiting for a spot to open near the outlet if you have a device that doesn’t last long on battery (like me). They are open SUPER late though, really nice to come hang here in the evening and do class work!

PRODUCT: Extremely delicious coffee. Clearly well made, and they come in 12oz and 20z sizes. I’m usually a 16oz gal and got a 12; almost went back for an additional 20 because it was that good. Definitely one of the top 3 best coffees I’ve had in all of Salt Lake.
SERVICE: Very friendly service, and the employees appear to be having a great time (whether through body language or tone). The guy who made my drink even told me outright that he loves to be there, which is always a good sign in a company!
VIBE: So much thought and effort was put into their decor and interior. This place is obviously curated and it elevates the experience so much. The theme is very consistent, and has that delightful gothic flavor to it. The social energy within the cafe was also great. There was a good combination of people working and people socializing, and the table setup is conducive to that environment.
Alchemy Coffee, you have a new biggest fan!

This is one of the best coffee / cold brew / espresso frappe in the valley. Staff really friendly and love some of the macabre and occult vibes in the store. I have also tried the food here and there was really good avocado toast! Love to come here for the vibes, the friendliness of the staff, and the delectable coffee.

My experience has been hit and miss with the coffee. Sometimes I love it, sometimes it’s okay. Absolute love their breakfast sandwiches though. Also comes with a good selection of fruit and is pretty filling and reasonably priced. Also love the location and the atmosphere. The decor and everything is so beautiful and unique. My only wish is that it was closer to me! I also love their Nina Simone!

Small, casual, cool vibes. The baristas are friendly, the black coffee is pretty mid, but the lattes are creative and delightful. They have a few vegan and GF options for pasteries/treats so that’s rad. Expect it to be pretty packed if you’re going on a weekend morning. The parking lot is small and there’s rarely available parking, just plan to park on the street. This place is mostly about the atmosphere and its 10000% worth it.
