Knowing I go there everyday when I’m working they honestly rock. They greet you by your name and have just a great smile on their faces. The manager is one of a kind. He does everything his staff does, which you don’t see a lot. He will ask each barista how their doing and keeps the positive vibe high. Thank you for all you guys and gals do

I was not greeted, my coffee needed more sugar and I waited by the pick up counter and was completely ignored by 5 people. Coming from and customers service rep. this made me very upset. I literally only need 2 pack of sugar and when I finally spoke up and asked they were placed on the wet mats instead of in my hand. Sad. Do better people.

If you want brewed coffee don’t go to this location. I’ve been here many times. I have to go to the other location to get a simple cup of coffee, They only brew coffee in the morning

(Becca) very rude with no manners. Long wait couldn’t even ask for a straw because she closed window on me i asked nicely to fix my coffee & she rudely turned around & ignored me

Customer service is horrible. Employees don’t take a second to answer your questions, you have to stand in line for half hour to get a simple task as a drink carrier.

Being Chicano I am vouching for this place for the best menudo I’ve come across at a restaurant. The meat was cooked to perfection! The broth had just the right flavor. For some reason I had to ask for cilantro and oregano but they brought it to me promptly. The corn tortillas were certainly made fresh. Topped a big bowl off with a barbacoa taco. It’s always a good sign when there is a line of people waiting to get in and most of them are elderly! I will come to this Cafe every time I am in town now. Loved the small hole in the wall experience. Don’t miss this one if you’re close bye…

Great staff, very accommodating! Enjoyed the classic comida casera (home style) fried chicken, and you can’t go wrong with a panchos/botana for 1!

I would have shown my marvelous plate but indeed it was all gone. Got some chilli cheese fries to take home. I had the enchiladas and they were amazing! My friend ordered the “shipwreck which was also devoured..

    Bursting with flavor!

If you wanna relax to the aesthetic sounds of a busy diner + some wholesome food I highly recommend kenos.

Our waitress was also amazing and very fast. Good service

As diners go, it’s a typical hole in the wall place. We were seated right away and waitress was very attentive and prompt. The Keno club was great tasting (a lot of bacon). My wife said the chicken fried chicken was just ok. She said the gravy tasted a little funny. I would return just to try their other dishes. It was generally good.

Had lunch here on Friday, they have really reasonable prices. I Had the parillada for one I think. It was well served everything was really good. Their spicy salsa was excellent. Only thing was they took a while to bring menus for our table, and my coworker’s drink had a fly in it. Drink got replaced eitherway. Server only came once to our table but was friendly overall. Would go back again all in all.

Visited 7/24 @10:30am Great food, great prices and great service. Had the Huevos Ranchero and Migas a la mexicana style. Everything was great. A nice way to end our trip to the valley. We will definitely be back for seconds.

Delicious food for a great price. Servers are friendly and always making sure you have what you need. Great place to meet a friend for breakfast or to have a family meal.

I don’t even like breakfast or eggs but I crave their Taco Locos every day. These tacos are jam packed with everything you want. There’s no comparison to the other breakfast tacos I’ve had in the valley. A terrific value in these tough economic times.

First time here and the food was decent. I got the Mexican plate and my beans did not have much flavor and my taco was too salty. Enchiladas were good. My husband said his burger was decent. Great service, though.👍🏼 4 Stars for that!

Slow slow service. Do not go here if you’re on your lunch. I made the mistake of wanting to try this place out on my lunch and I was very disappointed. As soon as I walked in I went to the front to ask if we seat ourselves or wait to be seated. They told me I could sit where I’d like. There were no clean tables but they assured me someone would go by to clean the table and take my order. After about 15 minutes of sitting at a dirty table I had to flag down a waitress to ask who my server was. She picked up the cups at the table and shortly after another waitress came by to take my order when I had no menu. I asked for a menu ordered and waited. Waited 25 minutes and still no food. My lunch was about to be over so I went to the front and asked to cancel my order. There was no apology they just said “ok”. Terrible service.

Cleanliness! Friendliness! AMAZING food and they are not stingy with portions!!
    GO FOR IT!!!
My only complaint was the sun being in my face while I ate (we did move tables twice)
    What we ordered:
2 plates of migas con chorizo and papas
1 order of regular migas and papas
1 order of French toast breakfast
    1 plate of barbacoa

I am only rating my last experience because their food is normally very good. This time, it was not so good. I ordered Papas a la Mexicana w/Chorizo Beans and a strip of Bacon Taco and it had a funky taste to it. I tasted a little bit at a time and it ended up being the tomatoes. They were rotten I think. I took out all the tomatoes and still ate my food. Tasted wayyyyy better afterwards.

Came to Janie’s Cafe for breakfast before heading out to the beach. Ordered two machecado tacos, and got these beasts. As a man who loves quality and quantity, I got both here. Delicious and filling. I hope to be able to visit more often. Good service and pretty good price.

First time visit. The food was good, service was excellent and the prices were fair. The only negative was the wobbly tables. They sell table levelers at the hardware store for cheap. We will come back.
    11/26/22 UPDATE
They still haven’t fixed the wobbly tables. 🙄
The breakfast tacos were overstuffed and very good. I should have ordered just one but I managed to get through 2 of them.
    Salsa was yummy.
All locals with a good vibe.
12/16/22 UPDATE: A BIG negative: the noise level can be a bit much especially when the place is full, the ranchera music (please turn it down or off!) is blaring and 2 TVs going. I’m partially deaf so it has to be really annoying for me to say something. The loud music and TV noise does nothing to enhance the dining experience for sure and sometimes make me think twice about coming here. 🤔🙄😒
