If you’re looking take a break from mainstream expensive coffee and want to have a cup of authentic handcrafted coffee this is the place to go. The great tasting coffee along with the vibe of the place, makes it a perfect spot to hangout even if you’re a coffee connoisseur or a casual coffee drinker. A lot of local artists’ work is displayed here if you’re into that kind of thing. A very well maintained place. This place will definitely not disappoint you if coffee is your thing.
My only one suggestion to the team – Their menu display needs a design overhaul as it’s hard to comprehend and the font size is very small as well.

I love one off coffee spots and this is definitely it. I got a blackberry white mocha lavender latte, a mouthful to day but worth it. I’m obsessed with their mugs that are for members. Extremely friendly staff

Stumbled into this cafe while driving back to Boston from NF. Great vibes! I had blackberry lavender white mocha, it was really good. This place has a very interesting history, do check it out when you are in Buffalo!

Awesome coffee and breakfast varieties, such a unique ambience and great polite hosts.. never had such distinct coffee flavor, the coffee could be hotter though, but we didn’t mind it because of the other things the place has to offer. Very good and different vibes, and besides the indoor ac seating, the place offers lovely open garden seating as well. This place is my all time favorite now. I’m surely going to have it again if I come to Buffalo/Niagara again, and recommend it to my friends too. I wish they had a branch in Bay Area.

Well I was lured by the breakfast sandwich.. which is solid. But there are better offerings around Buffalo. Cinnamon buns, that’s what you should be visiting this place for. Cinnamon buns and excellent coffee. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in for a cup of fresh hot coffee, there were options 🤗 – brewed, single origin, espresso, latte, macchiato…
I first tasted the cup “virgin” no cream, no sugar, and was satisfied with it.
The flavor was every bit organic, but I then added light cream, no sugar.
    The coffee was delightful!

For Breakfast- We had “The Mike” which was pretty good. Your choice of bagel, (we had)- Everything and Sesame with cream cheese. It comes with two fried eggs, provolone cheese (melted), and we added turkey. It was delicious, the bagels were toasted perfectly, soft with just enough crisp on the outer layer. Eggs were fried, with semi cooked/runny yolk, with turkey deli meat. The combination of it all brought the sandwich together cohesively. It made my taste buds happy!

The girl who served me wasn’t very happy/enthusiastic. It didn’t feel very clean and the chai latte was a bit sad. It wasn’t a bad experience but it wasn’t an overwhelmingly good experience either. I’ll probably still go back and try something else. It’s a great space and I’d like to work here for the morning.

A great coffee spot in North Buffalo. Coffee is consistently excellent and service is great. Outdoor seating is nice.

Had the Mike sandwich. It’s hard to screw up a fried egg sandwich, and they didn’t. Good coffee, decent seating, quiet.

This is my favorite Spot Coffee location and I’ve visited the one in downtown Buffalo and Williamsville too. This location is so cozy. I always try to sit in the back where the big couches are. It’s a great spot to sit and write. Their Cinco Shake is my favorite treat.

We were visiting Buffalo and stayed a few blocks away. Decided to try Spot on our last day. Not sure if it’s a Buffalo thing but the customer service was just okay. Almost felt like we were bothering the cashier.
On the other hand, my latte was great. Went back to order another item and they totally forgot about it. Decided to just get a refund.

    DEFINITELY MY NEW FAVORITE SPOT.
I can just come here after work to wind down, or come when I’m bored at home, or even on my way to work to pick up a cup of coffee to start off my day.
Has a great atmosphere. Special mike sandwich on an everything bagel tasted great. The Cinco Shake tastes amazing, but I do suggest asking for an extra pump or two of caramel syrup. Overall the food is great.

I am from UB Math department and working in symplectic topology and Gauge theory with my advisor Car-Got Take. Once upon a time I saw one of our faculty: Adam Sikora sitting at this “spot” using his Apple MacBook browsing Facebook when the social media is booming with Russia’s invasion and the exodus of Ukrainian into Adam’s home country: Poland!

Good to know that Adam also lives near downtown Buffalo and I think this is probably the reason that he is often late for his class. I personally do not take any of his course but I just heard such legend from the kids.

This is a good incentive, in my opinion, for the Buffalo City government and probably also the NYS to wake up and invest infrastructure in our Buffalo society especially in the public transportation so that we Buffalonian can enjoy a reliable, precise and on time public transportation service. This will greatly improves job employment and boosts the local economy and all in all most importantly — for Adam and I to have a safe, reliable and convenient way to UB North!

Wish our NFTA extension project goes all the way smooth without any hindrance! May God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit bless this project! Amen!

We stopped in before heading back home as this location was super close to where we were staying. I really loved the experience. I thought it was really sweet that the barista made latte art for my latte. I ordered the special mike sandwich which was really good (I don’t usually like plant based meat, but found this one yummy). Thanks for sending us off well 🙂

A neat place with friendly staff, phenomenal lunch wraps, and a great variety of drinks and snacks.
However, it was shocking that one employee was on her phone the whole time we visited.

Fantastic little coffee house and cafe! The cruellers were perfectly airy and light, nice flavor and a vast selection of flavors to pick from.
I ordered the bagel and lox breakfast sandwich and enjoyed every bit of it, the cilantro was a wonderful touch! Came with chips, which felt odd for breakfast, but I never say no to chips, so really it just opened my eyes to the concept of chips in the morning (thank you!)
The hubs ordered the breakfast sandwich, which he enjoyed as well.
Coffee was great, not acidic at all!
Next time we’re in buffalo, we’d go back!

Loved the way the cafe is designed, it’s aesthetic, minimal and has a lot of natural light. The staff is super friendly and always has a smile on their face. I ordered a lemon ice tea which wasn’t that great, I should’ve probably ordered some coffee as that’s what they are known for. Overall, I enjoyed the vibe but was disappointed with my drink.

Nice and cozy cafe. Friendly and patient staff. Ordered some pastries, a latte, The Vlad sandwich and breakfast burrito as take outs. Everything we ordered were super delicious. Definitely will visit again!

Great service although busy. We ordered the avocado toast, chai latte, cappuccino, and caramel macchiato (not shown). The toast was delicious and tasted fresh.

Love this place. Breezed through Buffalo and stayed at the Lafayette, what a gem to have on the ground floor. Delicious coffee, had both baked goods and bagel sandwiches and iced coffee for two mornings in a row. Quite busy at 8am opening, but their counter staff is very friendly and their system efficient. Said hello to the owner James when he handed me my baked goods, told him I would want my own coffee shop to look and run just like Public if I were to open one. Highly recommend!

A nice, and cozy cafe. I stopped by for coffee and quick food. The barista was nice, and the coffee was good. We ordered panini sandwiches – they were pre made, and he warmed them up for us. It was decent. Altogether to my experience it was decent, nothing over the top or fancy.

1st time here. Nice atmosphere, new guy on register was very nice and patient. Chai is a little bland but the barista fixed it up for me and it was a lot better. Bagels were good, eggs were a huge portion. Bacon VERY crispy.

Overall a solid place for a quick bite and drink on the go. The cappuccino was pretty good. The chocolate croissant wasn’t amazing nor terrible. It was middle of the road for me. I’d definitely go here again!

    Cockroaches.
By the drink machine, and running around the cups, I saw multiple small brown roaches of different sizes. I hope this is cleared up soon
