What a pleasant cafe! We found this coffee shop/restaurant to be clean, bright, and staffed with friendly professional employees. The menu is diverse and offers many many delicious options. Specialty items abound. Our food came out rapidly and was top notch regarding taste, quantity, and quality! We WILL be back!

Such a unique, cozy coffee shop. The hot chocolate-amazing! The latte-amazing! The food- yep, you got it. Amazing. Definitely an overall great experience and would visit again if in the area. Give this place a try!

I got the Macha and my friend got the Campfire and the drinks were so beautiful. The Turkey Pesto and Swiss and Strawberry Lemon Curd Crepes were generous sizes. Everything taste great and I will be going back. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. Parking is limited so go early…

When I saw there was a RAINBOW latte on the menu with GOLD FLAKES in it, I knew I was coming here. I got a matcha 2.0 latte and beyond being fun to look at, it was also super tasty! I also got lemon blueberry crepes that were solid. The cafe atmosphere is really cool. Lots of plants and art on the walls. Many seating options for working, reading, or meeting with friends. It’s a great little coffee shop! At the very least, do it for the gram. 😉

Cafe Astoria is one of my favorite places to go if I’m looking for an aesthetic coffee experience. The space is beautiful and the lattes are really unique. However, this experience didn’t live completely up to my expectations. My friend ordered a “Cortado” and it was the size of a latte and tasted burnt. When we asked the staff they said that it’s their normal size. Other than that, we did enjoy the experience and the staff was pleasant.

Absolutely beautiful cafe. The cafe is situated in a historical building and the cafe makes use of that fantastically. The vibe is immaculate for socializing or studying.

I will say that the coffee is quite overpriced for what you get but the atmosphere makes up for it fully. The service is fast and efficient.

There are options of couches, soft seats, and standard tables. Honestly the best cafe option in St Paul overrall. Highly recommend!

Hard to beat the energy at this intimate coffee cafe in the heart of St. Paul. Great atmosphere with cozy nooks and excellent coffee, pastries, scones, and service. The longtime owner’s goal was to have a place that brought people together. Mission accomplished. Thank you. Until next time!

I LOVE this coffee shop! It’s one of my favorites in St. Paul. I feel like I’m in a cafe in Paris when I step in here. The staff was friendly and the coffee was really good. Will be coming back.

Hey hey! Good morning ya’ll. To all the coffee lovers out there who haven’t try Nina’s coffee, you should come, visit and dine in. They have a pretty good selection of special coffee and pastry! Relaxing and cozy vibes. Perfect for morning date, grab and go, you name it!

Oh! And Daria the barista she’s the sweetest i’ve ever encounter so far. They made a really great coffee! Swear.

Great spot with delicious coffee. There are pastries for purchase, there was bacon-enough said for me. Staff was friendly, there were masks at the door if needed. Plenty of seating and a steady flow of people when we were there but did not feel overly crowded.

Chia Tea, so calmingly good! And what a beautiful design! Also the smoothie bowls are amazing! Packed with fruit and granola and just the perfect amount of açai base where it isn’t too much!!

Loved this coffee shop, the general vibe, the options to pick from (even two types of matcha?!) And the great staff make this place amazing! Highly recommend

I had an unsweetened matcha latte which was terrific

Enjoyed the cappuccino and cold brew after a long time not being able to drink hand crafted coffee. Enjoy sitting at an outside table with the beautiful sunshine ☀️

Smooth, delicious coffee options! Get the caramel bourbon latte. A very cozy place with lots of space (booths, tables, patio seating, and even a large conference room in the back). They also offer smoothie bowls from Bom Dia and a variety of local pastries from places such as Patisserie 46 and Sift.

Cadence is a gem of the East Side, an eclectic record store and coffee shop with a unique, creative selection of specialty beverages and music to suit any interest.

Alongside daily business, the shop is often a host to various events, art shows and gatherings, as well as concerts on the stage in the back of the store.

The staff here are great, friendly and welcoming, which, alongside the warm physical space, creates a lovely atmosphere.

    Vinyl and coffee!?! Score!
A hidden gem of a coffee spot! Good coffee and quick bites!
Super chill vibe. Clean. Nice staff and a great outdoor seating space! I’ll be back.

Love this place. We moved to the area and Caydence quickly became a favorite place to grab coffee and now BREAKFAST. Whatever secret green sauce is served with the breakfast sandwich and tacos should be jarred and sold. They’re great people with great coffee and awesome music and art.

I don’t go to St Paul very often, I actually came here to get my son’s uniforms but they weren’t open until 10:00 a.m. so we decided to stop for coffee. Definitely get their coffee cake. It’s a little bit spendy but I’m assuring you it’s worth it. I love how there are records here and even a section dedicated to heavy metal / death metal. Love the Vibe it was pretty quiet so if you are somebody who is a student and wants to find a nice place to study this is it. They also have an outdoor patio where you can read your books and drink as well.

Great little shop with a good selection of records and a space in the back for live music (which was the reason I was there). Definitely worth a visit! My Matcha tea latte was excellent as well.
The live music venue portion of the shop is no larger than a two-car garage, which is a consideration if you are like me and like to hide during live music events (Band vocalist: “Hey you, tall guy! C I R C L E P I T” Me: “Ah crap”)

Quaint spot! Coffee was really good. I had a decaf espresso with no flavor added. The people working didn’t know how the beans were decaffeinated, and that’s okay. It’s just helpful for people like me who can’t consume a lot of caffeine. It’s not information most people would ask about, though, so I don’t blame them for not knowing. The veggie quiche and soup I ordered were absolutely delicious! Lots of places to sit! Parking can be a little tricky but I promise that it’s worth it.

This place EARNED their five stars. Such a cute spot, easy to access and find. Right on the corner of the street! The food is wonderful, and the workers are so kind. We ordered a breakfast sandwich with veggies, and they forgot the veggies, so they were brought out separate. The barista was so kind and apologetic and even offered to remake the sandwich! Definitely a spot to frequent. Absolutely love it!

This place has a fun, eclectic vibe. Coffee and breakfast sandwich were both tasty. They sell art from local artists, which is always cool. Cute for a morning date or to just hang out and work. Wasn’t too loud.

a very lovely vibe. quite literally as everything inside is love themed as the name suggests! v spacious if you are trying to be covid cautious, and lots if table options and other comfy chairs to sit in. I got the iced Mexican mocha. the flavor wasn’t the best, most if the chocolate was at the bottom and it tasted more like a latte w cinnamon on top. but the brownie was cutteee and tasty (not overly sweet or decedent) and they have games to play which makes it such a fun and relaxing space! would definitely come again and try a different drink.

Lovely little place. They had some local artists playing music, staff were very friendly, and the bakery case was still full even late in the day. The coffee was wonderful and the internet was fast.
