You know that feeling you get when you look at someone you love? That warmth in your cheeks, the soft tingle down your spine, and the feeling of your shoulders relaxing into place?
That’s how Artisan makes me feel. The baristas and kitchen staff are always so friendly and the atmosphere feels like home to me. I spend literally all day here when I come and I recommend it to everyone. I take friends and family here, do interviews here, and draw, paint, and read here.

If you’re considering a visit, consider no more. You were MEANT to be here. Welcome to the family!

We have enjoyed stopping by on our visit! The White Cherry Mocha, Caramel Latte, and Lavender Latte are all fantastic drinks.

We went one day for lunch and had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and Pesto Grilled Cheese. Everything was delicious, service was quick, kind and inviting.

I ran past during the Akron Half Marathon and decided to go back after the race was over as they had a nice band playing music during the race and it stuck out to me. The service was excellent and the coffee was amazing. The food was lacking in taste, and the taco shells we got were dry and not good. The atmosphere was top notch and would go back for the coffee and maybe a fun place to get some work done during the week.

I’m so thankful for this place. It’s right down the street and I can come here and focus. It’s not set up to feel like you are sitting on top of other people, there’s plenty of space. Also, as a gluten free person, the gluten free baked goods and sandwiches are great! It tasted like i was eating a real sandwich. I also really enjoy seeing the families, Bible studies, friends, and mentors that frequent here. This is a bright light in this town.

I try to stop in here as frequently as I can before work in the mornings because it is always super great. The baked goods alone are worth a stop not to mention the sandwiches! Oh, I can’t forget about the coffee either. Basically its all delicious lol. Atmosphere is great. Probably the best coffee shop in the Akron area. Keep it up!

So it was my first time here and everything was so delicious. I got the Fireside Chat latte and it was so good! Our total for two people (drinks and food) was 13.00 which was a shock for me because I usually pay more. The prices are great and the local pastries were delicious. The service was welcoming and accommodating. Parking may be hard since it’s on market street, but we came early in the morning and parked on a side street near the cafe with no issue. There is parking directly in front of the shop! Would definitely come back here and I’m glad I found another great coffee shop 🙂

So came here by chance as I was waiting for my son to finish an appointment and boy am I glad I did! I am a coffee addict and love a good atmosphere and this place has it all great coffee (cafe con leche), pastries (peanut butter cup cookie), atmosphere, and the owner/staff were AWESOME! It may be a little out of my way but I WILL be back!

I always have a good time here and I would have given five stars except for the changes in seating since the Covid hysteria. Fewer seats and most of them are the less comfortable diner type wooden chairs/table arrangement. The baked goods: excellent and local. Homemade soup sometimes disappointing but I give a Silverstar for effort and variety! Wide assortment of bulk tea (it has the equivalent of a four-shelf bookcase Full of jars.) available to purchase for your own use or to enjoy by the cup while you’re here.

Our writing group comes here often because of the casual college eclectic ambience and the menu of course. We really miss the missing seats because this is a popular place and often the tables are all taken by solitary individuals.(although you could join them that does break up your group)

Where else could you order coffee with a name like Christmas Goat???

This is exactly what you expect from an urban neighborhood coffee bar. The vibe of the place in definitely city-chic, from the deceptively large interior decorated with old album covers to the bistro seats on the sidewalk outside. The coffee menu was wonderful, with seasonal inspired recipes on top of cafe favorites.

This place is small and full of life! The patrons, the employees and the selection of tea’s and coffee is amazing. Eli was especially helpful with recommendations for our tea selection. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I ordered egg bites and a coffee. I use the restroom and come back and find my egg bites. I take them and finish them by the time my coffee is still not out. I wait a few more minutes and finally ask how long is it going to take to get my coffee. To which they asked what my name was and that they had no order with my name and stated someone must have taken it. Then asked what I ordered, made my drink and handed it to me a couple minutes later. No “sorry that happened” or “gosh what an inconvenience you’ve been here 16 minutes for a coffee” no, nothing. I understand if someone actually did take it that that is out of both of our control, but be apologetic at least or offer something to your customers to show you care.

Prepare to wait a minimum of 25 minutes either in drive thru or inside. So many people come to this location they cannot handle the orders. Waited 20 minutes for a sandwich inside. I had to ask to employee working the food to check for name. If I didn’t I would have waited 30 minutes. Between drive thru, online orders, and inside orders they can’t handle it. They need a new system because the way in which they take the orders are causing a major delay for people to wait 25 minutes.

It’s your average Starbucks location. This one has the more rare coffees called Starbucks Reserve, available at select locations. Be patient because this one is frequently busy with a long wait. If you’re there for the rare coffees, the delicious Reserve coffee is worth the wait.

This morning I placed a mobile order which included a impossible breakfast sandwich and a mango dragonfruit refresher with lemonade, peach juice and vanilla sweet foam, blended. When the drink was given to me it was all white. I asked why wasn’t the drink pink and barista stated that he had forget the mango Dragonfruit powder. As he was remaking my drink I noticed he put the vanilla cold foam in with the mix and was about to blend the drink instead of placing the cold foam on top at the end. I let him know this. He immediately got frustrated and started to make the drink over. Slammed everything he touched around.
I’ve been in food service my entire life. I know what it’s like to be treated rudely. I wasn’t being rude at all. I don’t appreciate his attitude when all I was doing was asking for my drink to be made correctly. Starbucks is expensive and I treat myself once a week and I expect to be treated with respect and not like I’m a problem for speaking up. This employee needs an attitude check.

Excellent location for Starbucks coffee! They nailed it on my drink and I was pleased! I would recommend this location as the staff are friendly and the cafe environment is nice to sit in and relax!

Good coffee and lattes! A good bakery selection too. This coffee shop has a local / hip collegey vibe. Kind of a vintage yet comfortable atmosphere with a fair amount of tables to sit and chat with friends or browse online. I’ll be back to have more.

Always super friendly and prompt staff on hand who have never made me feel like I didn’t belong. Coffee is excellent and always pick up a bag of their whole beans for at home use. Definitely my go-to coffee shop within close proximity to Highland Square.

Excellent coffee! I was visiting from out of town and wanted to pick up some coffee beans to bring back home. Unfortunately I ran out of time but will definitely be back when I visit Akron again.

The scenery in here is beautiful!! And you can paint which is super neat! I did wait a while for my food (because I messed up on the kiosk.) But as soon as I told the woman working, she assisted me and put a rush in for my order.
I appreciated that for sure and the food was absolutely amazing!!

Overall, great food, fun aesthetic, and good customer service considering it seemed they were short staffed. Defs will eat here again!

Food quality has tanked. You’ll be hard pressed to find a worse breakfast in Akron.

Last three orders had major items incorrect.

This time I ordered an Asiago bagel with American. Got an extremely burnt everything bagel with a quarter sized piece of cheese on it. Tasted like licking an ash tray. Bacon was nearly raw.

What really stinks is this place used to be amazing and I’d recommend it to everyone. Now they like to remind me of how bad the place is I recommended.

Beautiful inside and out, Right next to the library too! I would recommend it to anyone whose vibe is ‘ fairy living in the woods ‘ 10/10 would recommend it again and again! Great chai tea and great coffee! The staff were kind and made me feel very welcome, complimented my mom’s tattoo! Supports a charity to support autistic people that isn’t autism speaks (which let me tell you is big deal!) Can’t speak on the accessibility of the place!

We happened to arrive when they became short staffed. A bit of a wait for food but we had a great waitress, food was outstanding and everyone was fun and upbeat. Will definitely return!
