Jives has amazing coffee and food, but what is even more impressive is the leadership of this company. The owners are frequently walking around, asking people how they are, joking, making sure customers are happy, etc. One of the owners has 10 kids! I only know this because I went to college with one of the “kids,” and I can honestly say: what an amazing family. I will always support local, hard-working, family businesses, and Jives is the epitome of all of that. The other co-owner (I believe) is always friendly, always hustling, and is frequently seen riding his bike to work. These families lead by example and that’s rare to see these days.
The Mama Mia sandwich is always delicious and fresh. A good and unique drink to try is the spicy mocha, with extra cayenne pepper. 🌶

Such an adorable coffee shop! Decided to stop here while I was in Colorado Springs and was not disappointed. The shop itself has indoor and outdoor seating, and a bookshelf with books that are free for you to look through while you sip on your coffee. They also have a small stand in the corner with musical instruments- where I assume a band plays every once in a while. As far as service goes, the employees were polite and my food and drink came out super fast. I ordered an iced “Black Sea”. Super yummy! It was the perfect sweetness and full of flavor. And for food, I ordered a Turkey Provolone Croissant which I definitely recommend. It came with chips and some dip. My meal totaled about $15 with drink and food. Definitely recommend stopping here (-:

Such a lovely place. We enjoyed the ambience, service and the food. The veggie tower was amazing. We packed it for the road and the food tasted amazing even after hours. The chai tea had perfect spice to it. We also took a Danish cherry pastry which was equally delicious. They also gave us some mini cinnamon rolls for the road as a gift, which was very sweet. Highly recommend this place.

I’ve here a few times, it almost has two personalities. The coffee shop during the day and the one at night. It’s relaxing atmosphere and the friendly staff along with Steller coffee makes this a must visit. We were lucky enough to see a small band play, Irish music? Or at least that what it sounded like.

This review is about the open mic night on a Wednesday nights.

A great place to hear local artists perform in a relaxed atmosphere. Good food, snacks, drinks and of course performances.

Singer songwriters are the mainstay, but you’ll also see a smattering of spoken word performed as well.

Very nice spot with delicious but simple breakfast plates. I normally like coffee that has a lot of flavor, and it may have just been the seasonal flavor that I chose that just didn’t please my taste buds much. I got the oatmeal cookie latte. My friend got a mocha. For food, the avocado toast is yummy but I saw many other dishes come out that looked amazing! I will have to come back and try more plates and drink choices!

Wow!! What a fantastic coffee shop! The coffee was the perfect balance of fruity and darker flavors. The avocado toast with soft boiled egg and bacon was out of this world! What really put it over the top was the fresh baked bread. The cookies were also amazing. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you order here. This is a must for anyone visiting Colorado Springs.

How I love Loyal Coffee! I have been here many times. The quality coffee, pastries, and service are top notch. The aesthetic is warm, clean, and inviting. Loyal has a fantastic vibe!

Anyone could make good coffee. Many do. However, the service is what puts Loyal at the top of my list. Mick and the staff were very attentive today. A small example – I dropped my espresso spoon on the way to my table. Before I had the chance to set my drink down and return to pick up the spoon, the staff had already noticed and they were in the process of bringing me a new spoon.

The tables are hard to come by, as Loyal Coffee has a strong following of remote workers that enjoy the space. Knowing this, I plan ahead and show up 15 minutes before meeting a client to ensure that I can snag us a table in time. As soon as a guest leaves the table, the staff is prompt, clearing and cleaning the table for the next guest to enjoy. Kudos, as others would have turned away and left the guests to figure it out.

Lastly, the pastries are always fresh and baked locally at another favorite of mine, the French Kitchen. If you haven’t had a chance to stop by the French Kitchen on the North side of Colorado Springs, Loyal Coffee is appreciated by all on the South side. Thank you for sharing such buttery goodness!

These are two different times that me & my husband came in. Every employee here definitely makes you feel welcomed and like family. They pay extra attention to the details and they really somehow find a way to make everything perfection! It had an extremely laid back vibe and the food and drinks are amazing!!! The coffee doesn’t taste burnt how I taste coffee sometimes in certain places. The coffee taste so good you can literally taste the bean which I love! I got lavender in mine and noticed they make their own lavender. Honestly in heaven every time I come here! Thank you to everyone who’s a part of this establishment.

The workers were very polite! My husband and I got the avocado toast. It was very delicious. I got a raspberry lavender and honey latte which was delicious. Atmosphere is great too! I would highly recommend but I would say the pricing is higher than an average coffee shop.

Great options of coffee, baked goods and menu items at this eclectic coffee shop in downtown Colorado Springs off of south Tejon. Park on the street and feed the meters or park in a paid parking lot for extended downtown parking. Boutique coffee shop with Gluten free and dairy free options. The dining area makes up A variety of mismatched chairs and tables, decor with a local vintage vibe. Friendly but quiet atmosphere. Good place to hang out and work on the laptop with a good cup of coffee or a novel. I had iced coffee with oat milk and gluten free pumpkin bread. 👍👍 I’ll definitely be back to try the other flavors! Banana bread or coffee cake next time! And as always—gluten free. My boys had brownies they couldn’t even finish they were so large! I highly recommend a Saturday morning outing! With your kids, your family, your friends, or solo. Outdoor seating available.

My boyfriend and I originally wanted to go to Urban Egg, but the line was way too long as per usual, so we figured we’d find something else.

From the outside, we thought okay we’ll just get coffee and head to find something else to eat. But once inside, we discovered this comforting atmosphere that also had breakfast items. So we stayed. Thank God we did.

We decided to get hot chocolate, a mimosa for myself, avocado toast and a breakfast sandwich. Omg when I tell you I was in heaven…it was so delicious and definitely filled that hunger. We will definitely be going back to try more that they have to offer.

This place rocks. And it’s OPEN, unlike Loyal Coffee, which closes suuuuuuper early. So if you like Loyal, come here instead…more space, cool upstairs space and view. This is my new downtown Colorado Springs coffee shop.

Bagel sandwiches (we had one each of ham, bacon and sausage)were delicious. Bacon burrito was ok but the bacon itself was amazing. Drip coffee was also very good. Upstairs loft has great morning light, good atmosphere, would go back.

This place is easily my favorite coffee shop in town! I love the art wall and the staff here is super kind. I order a ham, egg, and cheese croissant and an iced Carmel Mountain with oat milk every time. Just getting around to my review but I’ve been going every time I’m downtown for the last 6 months or so!

We love to try local coffee shops. Unfortunately this one missed the mark. Service was good, and the danish was good. Both mine and my husband’s coffees tasted burned. And they were extremely thick and sweet. The place looks a bit run down, my cup had a big chip on top. It just wasn’t a comfy, welcoming place. We ate the danish and left most of the coffee.

The quiche and tea I had were both really good. The outside seating was great to have views of the mountains. The vibes inside were a little…off? Hard to say but it felt better being outside. Overall a good experience still.

this place is right off the busy road of academy. it’s very spacious and has a variety of different types of seating (both outside and inside). they even have a private room for big meetings. i stayed here for roughly 4 hours and no one complained, and there was enough seating for other customers, even when the shop was at its busiest. the customer service was average. i ordered a medium americano with pumpkin pie spice and it was so-so. it was about 4.80. tasted like the cup of coffee i make at home, didn’t really taste the pumpkin-ness, but it wasn’t bad. when she was making it, she asked if i wanted room for cream and i said sure just because i like adding my own cream. then she hands it to me and says “i added cream” just something i didn’t prepare for. they give also ordered an egg croissant sandwich with spinach and swiss cheese. it was kind of bland and i could’ve made it better at home.
this place does not have music. they have a small book shelf for “take a book, leave a book” and games that you can use.
overall this place is great for if you are wanting pastries (sweet breads, croissants, danishes, cinnamon rolls, and cake) or delicious burritos.
i’d probably go somewhere else tho if i want a smooth cup of coffee. i might come back to try their lattes. i didn’t get one this time tho because they were so expensive (5.15 plus another .99 for added flavor).

    update (12/2022)
their lattes are so nice. probably one of the best i’ve had in colorado springs. the roast was sweet and smooth. they’ve really upped their game. quiche was okay, probably won’t get it again as the smell was kind…off-pudding. their cinnamon rolls, though, very good, very good 👌👌

First thing to know: THE WATER. Hits like no other. Thirsty? Come to this Pikes Perk. Not feeling coffee? Come refresh your palette with the complimentary water.

Now the coffee: I got an iced latte. The espresso is smooth and not bitter. Great flavor.

We also came on a Saturday morning and saw the blue grass band playing! Very pleasant surprise!

This place is huge! I came up from Denver on a work trip and just wanted a place to grab a coffee and work on editing and this place was perfect. The girls at the front that were working were truly amazing and super helpful. The place has a ton of room and the vibe is really cool. The coffee is good, ton of room for meetings with your groups to do work or just hang out. If you are in the springs and wanna work in a good space with good coffee this should be a place you check out for sure!

First time in and ordered a lavender chai. My friend ordered the frozen hot cocoa. Both drinks were amazing! We also ordered a sconce and a cinnamon crunch muffin. The staff asked if we wanted them warmed up too!

The atmosphere was cozy. Some natural light and mood lighting. I like how the tables were spaced out giving us more privacy. Staff were friendly as well.

Overall I strongly recommend Third Space Coffee!

Great coffee shop in the COS area. Coffee is pretty expensive, but like any coffee shop at this point… The place is very spacious and the environment is right in between being too loud and being too quiet. Come here if you’re in the area and want to study or meet up with friends and family!

Great ambience. Perfect place to sit and work. Got their Snowy latte – White chocolate hazelnut latte. It was a bit too sweet. I generally ask for 2 pumps but it came with 3 pumps. So ask for adjustment if needed. Their rose latte was also good. The rose flavour was very subtle. But overall the coffee tasted great! They also have sandwich options.
