Always a great breakfast, always great friendly service. The four cheese omelet and the baked potato skillet were both awesome and just more reasons for us make sure we make it to Rosie’s whenever we are in the area. And make sure you leave room for a cinnamon roll!

If you’re looking for a cute, out of the way neighborhood diner, Rosie’s is the place. From the U-shaped counter with stool to the eclectic collection of antiques, this diner is filled with old-fashioned charm. The staff was very friendly and the food was great with huge portions. This establishment is definitely worth a visit. Make sure you bring cash as they do not accept credit cards. (ATM available on site)

It’s hard to beat Rosie’s if you’re looking for that real Cafe vibe serving up a Wisco 5 star breakfast. Table is crowded because we have two little ones who have long arms.

I always love going to Rosie’s! Preferably during the week at non-peak times, cause the weekends can get pretty busy!! My go to is the country sausage skillet-so yummy! Not to mention, they always keep my coffee cup full! Favorite breakfast place!

Rosie’s is an iconic diner that used to serve good jiffy meals to a huge workforce right next door. That scenario has long since passed but the friendly, hyper-efficient service in this ‘mid-century modern’ throwback to your grandparents’ go-to neighborhood diner is as tasty to experience as the food they produce. Save room for the home-made desserts!

Java Vino is always a treat. My sister and I love having our sister dates here and the food and drinks never disappoint! I always ask what their featured daily burger is and usually get that! Last few times it was a jalapeno popper burger (in the photo) that was incredible! And more recently was a fajita burger. I was craving a salad, but the burger sounded so good that they were so accommodating and put the fajita topping from the featured burger on a salad instead. A+ service and quality every time we go!

Large restaurant/bar with plenty of seating for a Saturday breakfast. The food was very good, the coffee just okay.

My wife and I started off by ordering a cup of the dark roast coffee ($3 or so), which the waitress said would be the brew of the day. Sadly, what she meant was that the brew of the day, which she told us was called Toasted Coconut after we received it and mentioned it tasted like French Vanilla and did not taste like a dark roast, was the “darker” roast of the two coffees they had. I stomached the brew of the day while my wife asked for a shot of espresso to add. Unfortunately, the shot didn’t come out before my wife finished her coffee, but at least it tasted like a dark roast when it did. Only other issue with the coffee/service was that the waitress did not ask if we wanted more coffee until we were already finished with our meal.

The food (about $10 per item), in the meantime, came out relatively quick. I ordered the veggie omelette (onions, mushrooms, peppers) with sourdough toast and a side of hashbrowns and my wife ordered the florentine sandwich (looked like a spinach omelette on toast with some cheese. My food was steaming hot when it arrived, and although it needed some of the salt and pepper on the table, it was very good, especially when I threw it on the toast. My wife liked her sandwich, but said it was just warm and not hot. She also loved my hashbrowns.

    Overall, a good experience!

5/5 for service. Very friendly and quick service even when they are busy.

5/5 for atmosphere. It can be a little noisy in the background but tables are spaced enough that you can still chat without needing to yell. Very comfortable and nice place to hang out.

5/5 for drinks. The drink options, serving size, and quality is really good.

3.5/5 for food. Food option and price is good. But taste isn’t great (it’s not bad) and consistently is not there (i.e., 1 inch thick tomatoes shouldn’t be in burgers).

First time there, staff were super friendly, inside is much bigger than I had expected. We walked in to get something to go, looked at menu, ordered, food came out fast and hot! Me and my co-worker were both pleased! 😋

Going to go back for dinner some time and dine in. Looking forward to it!

Delicious drinks that turned my morning around! The staff were a great delight too! I asked for recommendation for something refreshing but not too sweet, and the recommended tonic espresso hit the spot. We also tried the herbal tea with blueberry and it was refreshing as well. The interior is tasteful and huge with a lot of seating. I hope to stop by again to try other items!

I’m so happy to have the Rootnote back! The new decor is much brighter, which takes some getting used to. It’s beautiful, but I loved the darker ambiance of the original, so I’m biased there. The same great coffees, teas, and beverage menus, but the food is cut wayyyyyyy back. Great vegetarian choices. They’ve done away with most of crepes except the Cremlin and the cinnamon sugar, which saddens me deeply. I have a bit of trouble finding something I enjoy as a pickier eater, but my daughter (a vegetarian with a broader palate than mine) always finds something yummy.

Best London fog/Earl Grey latte in town by a wide margin. Espresso drinks and menu are also amazing (got the fork- and knife-worthy Toast – highly recommend). Good people, excellent vibes, so glad they’re back.

traveling through for work and stumbled into this gem of a coffee shop. double espresso – perfect, biscuit sandwich- extremely tasty, and music set list from the only ones to the replacements along with fugazi and new order couldn’t have made my morning more enjoyable. sit on the stage if you can (as long as no band playing) staff is top notch!!!

Normally I’ve had great experiences with dine in, the food quality is always amazing, but I got some of their chili to go because it’s really good. The sizes used to be cup or bowl and when I first asked for cup the cashier said it changed to one bigger size. So I posted a picture of what I got. I called and complained that I thought this wasn’t fair for how much the chili costs for the “bigger” size. They Just said someone made a mistake and they will let the kitchen know but I wish they would’ve offered me a refund it’s not like someone should still pay as much as they used to ask or maybe offer two sizes. This seems like cutting corners to me. My first food jobs I was always taught the real point is to make sure people are getting what they paid for at the very least. To-go shouldn’t compromise quality and I hope that improves so I can be happy ordering again and not feeling ripped off.

I LOVE this Moka location! The new manager Halil is SO great! The rest of the staff is also so friendly!! This is my first stop almost every morning! Best coffee in town!

Moka does a great job! They’re my coffee and pastry easy button for meetings! It’s simple, I call in an order, tell them when I’d like to drop in to pay and pick up and they always have it ready to go! I order pastries and some coffee brew boxes based on attendance and it’s very convenient! I like to add a fruit tray from the grocery store to round out the refreshments.

When I’m in town I always stop at West Ave Moka to get my cold brew Jamaican😎. Seems like they have a new manager, he is super cool and very professional. Moka staff is always friendly and helpful can’t ask for anything better !!

8:30 AM and already sold out of bagels. I paid a bit over $10 for a medium chai and a plain English muffin. I wanted the English muffin toasted but it was just warm. The chai was watery. Not your typical yummy chai latte, but a watered down version of it. Overall, extremely underwhelmed.

The old Mr. D’s donut recipe has changed here at Moka in the last handful of years. They don’t resemble or taste much like the original thing anymore.

I ordered in drivethough a “nutty pumpkin “ off the menu, I order this everyday! Today, it was a large “cream” coffee with a splash of coffee zero flavor. I went inside to try and get it re-made. Staff didn’t offer assistance to me or the other 10+ in the building waiting to be helped. 15min went by and finally got help, once getting that….. they took my coffee, put a new lid on it and gave it back to me. Doing this behind a. Tall counter so I couldn’t see it. I get back in my vehicle, try it and notice it’s still white coffee. Very disappointed in the service and the coffee itself. Very rude staff using vulgar language as well, talking bad about customers and employees.
By Jessica Stingl (5 months ago)
the person who took my order was nice, but when they handed me my coffee the lid’s just like, gross. it’s not the biggest deal, I can just pour it into another cup but like, ew.

I love the rewards system with Dunkin and I think that the food and drinks are great. However, I believe that it could be better if the employees didn’t screw up drinks as much as they do. It is very annoying when u ask for something specifically and do not get it causing your drink to taste horrible. However, every time this has happened the customer service is great and they redo the drink or give you a coupon of some kind!

Picture says it all. Donuts were a mess. Coffee was cold and must have been brewed wrong because it was weak and bitter.
By Neal Meier (5 months ago)
Ordered 2 coffee drinks , a tea and a donut. After paying was told to pull ahead into a parking spot. Waited for about 15 minutes and an employee brought the drinks out but no donut. I Showed the employee the donut on the receipt and he said he’d go get it. After he left we looked at our drinks and every drink was wrong. The tea was an iced coffee not even a tea. We were in a hurry so after waiting a few more minutes I went into get the donut. An employee handed me a bag and I went back to my vehicle. I looked in the bag and the donut was also wrong. I order a raised white frosted and got a chocolate chocolate donut. It appeared the place was well staffed but the staff gave me the impression that they were more interested in joking around than working. Im still amazed that they got every single item wrong.
