coffee is so good. We came back 3 times in a roll to try different drinks. I particularly like Latte with oat milk. it brings out both bitterness and sweetness at the same time. I thought adding oat milk would have a strange taste but no, the qualities of their selections are splendid. Oat milk plays a quiet role behind the scene but there is a gentle oat taste when you swallow latte. It balanced all flavors and blended to its own character. so good, I will for sure visit again if I travel to Philly. ❤️

Popped in here to try Elixr’s mocha. Such a cute space. Coffee smelled delightful. Really great frothiness and good balance of chocolate. Recommend getting it “for here” and enjoying your coffee and the space!

I’m a coffee lover. That said, it’s getting really expensive to buy fresh roasted beans. The average price for 12 ounces, (which used to be a pound by the way..) is $18-$22 plus shipping fee! Not only that but, finding a reasonably close place to buy them is mostly difficult. I’m always searching online in vain for a bargain. Then I found Elixr. Located just north of center city Philadelphia. They do free shipping! Not only that but they have a great deal for three bags for $47.00! Their beans are delicious, dated, only a couple of days old, and they have a good variety. They also are speedy, I get my coffee within two days, and it’s consistent. My favorite espresso bean is “Beekeepers.” Give them a shot if you’re like me, tired of paying too much!

A very good coffee place without any sign outside. The coffee shop looks cozy and stylish. Cortado was extremely great!!

Delicious coffee and cool interior. Everyone here was nice and they poured great latte art 🙂 Mocha was very well balanced between the espresso, milk, and chocolate. Will be back next time I’m in Philly!

When you get to your desk after the pumpkin spice draft has lost 65% of its froth content.

I’m hoping La Colomba can construct some further education/training around pouring draft/on tap products correctly. This entails waiting for the froth to dissolve and pouring with a glass/cup on its side to mitigate excess froth.
NOTE: IF YOU ORDER A PUMPKIN SPICE LATE ON DRAFT, TELL THEM TO POUR IT CORRECTLY.

    Overall a Delicious drink

Kind staff with great pastries and coffee. I always forget you get a free cup of coffee when you buy fresh beans! I got the blueberry tart today and have enjoyed sitting in their nice cafe people watching. Masks are required when you enter but not while you are drinking your coffee.

Solid coffee choice in the city. They are really fast and their pastry selection is pretty extensive and fresh.

Was so excited to see that they had two gluten free item’s from flakely. I got the poptart. They were individually wrapped and delicious. I will be getting more. 🙂

Pretty great as a rule. Expect to be in a long line in the morning! I love the draft latte (I’m basic but I know something good when I taste it) and ALL their pastries are great. They’re always friendly and lightning fast once you order.

Awesome little coffee shop in the city. Delicious food, but more importantly, amazing coffee and specialty drinks. Their list of unique lattes is awesome. They bring seasonal drinks that are as delicious as they are creative and I’ve never tried some thing I didn’t like. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area.

Far and away my favorite coffee shop in the city. I live in Brewerytown and I drive past half a dozen coffee shops just to come here. Amazing food, amazing coffee (New Orleans cold brew is so good). Super friendly staff. Just, wow

Chill place to get coffee. The atmosphere was serene, and the coffee was very good.
I saw a few students sitting inside, so I guess it’s a cool spot to study as well. We didn’t have a grinder but wanted good quality coffee, so I purchased the local beans, and they were very understanding and grinded the beans for me! Still grateful they did it and we had good coffee during our stay in Philly.

I’m disappointed and won’t be back. The atmosphere is outstanding. However, the food quality and the waiting time turn me off. We ordered a Chai, a bagel sandwich and french toast. It took more than 30 min to get our food to our table. When we arrived at the store, no one was there. Don’t know why it took that long. Also, the ironic part is the french toast is called “Baked apple french toast”, but the apple slides in my french toast are freezing cold… Also the toast is overcooked and burnt.

I love One Shot! I got their Thai tea french toast special and the apple pie latte. Both were so good! Their menu is always so creative and the staff is great!

We had an iced and a hot mocha. The hot mocha was too sweet, but the iced oat milk mocha was really good, a must try for all cold coffee lovers. Overall I would rate it 4/5, as there could be more snack/bakery food options.

Really great coffee and really great staff. We decided to take a walk from the Wyndam for a local cup, and couldn’t have been happier! Delicious

Stopped in for coffee on New Year’s Day. Cappucino was perfection and the monster cookie was to die for. Definitely a surprise on our trip!

One of my favorite Philly coffee shops! I come here about twice a month to read with a coffee and a pastry. There’s always been at least one place to sit, which is surprising because they’re always somewhat busy. Still, It’s always been very nice.

PROS: friendly staff (they’re cool, but not too cool to still be friendly to everyone), lots of seating, good prices, good pastries, no up charge for oat milk in your drip coffee, great aesthetics, some vegetarian options, big clean bathroom, great for people watching

CONS: not my favorite for food, At least not for bagels. You have to toast them yourself and spread your own cream cheese with a plastic knife, kinda feels like a hotel or cafeteria breakfast at that point.

Definitely still one of my favorite places!

Best coffee to date on our US trip. Yes we are spoilt with choice in Australia but this place comes close. Highly recommend if you like good coffee and chilled atmosphere.

Coffee was very tasty. Service and atmosphere could’ve been better. The only latte flavors were mocha or vanilla. Nowhere to sit inside, so enjoyed our drinks in the sunshine on outside tables. Would stop back because of convenient location and flavorful coffee.

Coffee here is not expensive. Have good pour over options. The cold brew was decent and made in house. Also have options for nitro draft. Not a bad selection of coffee.

This is such a cute little corner shop at a great location, great interior and potential. But the team member at the register was rude, coffee was mediocre, and whatever brand they’re using for oat milk, it was bad. I got an almond croissant that was also meeh.

Very small and cozy. Best mocha I’ve ever had. Nice staff.
