Very good coffee from a very cute shop! The mocha had a pleasant taste as if it was roasted to perfection, not burnt or bitter whatsoever. It was subtly sweet with no extra sweetener added by me. High quality stuff for sure. I’m definitely going to be trying the iced lavender latte the next time I come!

The shop is very cozy and has intimate indoor and outdoor seating arrangements, making it a great place to get coffee with a friend. They also have their own little parking lot in the front which I really appreciated.

For Sunday morning, I was looking for the place to have coffee and quick bite to have.
I knew Lamplighter was the local coffee shop in Richmond and decided to have coffee from Lamplighter coffee roasters.
From the menu I decided to order Cold Brew Coffee, Everything Bagel and also ordered Pumpkin Bread for to go.
The coffee shop looked amazing with beautifully decorated and ample of place to sit and have coffee as well as to have the quick bite.
The service was good and I soon got my order which included Coffee as well as Everything Bagel.
The cold brew was amazing and it was freshly brewed. Amazing coffee to start my day.
The Bagel was also delicious with Cream Cheese on it and it was tasty as well as delicious.
Amazing coffee shop in Richmond to have coffee and quick bite to have.

We visited Richmond, and decided to have a coffee/lunch at this location. We were greeted by a nice host and atmosphere.

Coffee was great and we had the TLT and the “17 1/2” specials and they were really good, been to a few coffee places and food isnt always the highlight but here it was definitely the case.

Would definitely look for this place next time we stop by Richmond.

Yummy burrito. Espresso soda is well balanced. Shop has good vibes! Popular on a Sunday. There’s a board inside with coupons for free burritos or pastries – u can choose to pre-purchase for someone at the register. That’s very nice for those in need.

A good variety of seating options, including a nice glass lot across the street. Cozy! In the morning, it has shade 🥴

Definitely eat the Slayer Bagel sandwich!! Delicious and worth the wait (expect a 30min prep time). You can order ahead on their website which I would definitely recommend unless you have time to spare. You can even order for a specific date and time which is handy.

Lots of outdoor seating space as well as a screened-in porch. I’m personally not a fan of the coffee – I’m not partial to the smokey flavor of the beans.

This is a pretty cool place. The drinks were pretty good and at a reasonable price. Service was good. I do have to say if you have to go to the bathroom that you’ll be using a port a potty. They do keep it very clean though. It was the cleanest I have ever seen. I would certainly recommend this place.

Food is awesome — a bit slow — but their breakfast burrito is to die for! Service is awesome — very friendly! Ambiance/atmosphere is 1/5 – a parking lot with a tent next to a busy four-lane road. I used to love this place back in the 00’s. A converted auto-garage, you could go inside, sip coffee with your ice cream, and read a book. Now, it’s literally just a parking lot and a tent with some port-a-johns. Why should I pay coffee-shop prices to stand out in the weather next to a highway for what is essentially take out? Seriously, people, open your doors!

Crossroads has incredible food and coffee in a very comfortable setting. They are also pet friendly. Lauren who works the window is very beautiful and super nice, she always gets the day started in the best direction possible.

Nice little coffee shop that has really interesting specialty latte flavors! The atmosphere is cozy and well decorated and the staff is friendly for the most part. Their biscuit breakfast sandwiches were very tasty and well made.

We decided to try their very pricey specialty lattes and even though they were good, they were not worth $9 especially when they were served in small paper to-go cups instead of ceramic mugs, which is what brought us to this place from the fancy pictures. Other than that everything was great and if we lived in the area this would definitely be one of our top coffee shops.

I had a few hours before catching a plane in Richmond so I decided to explore one of the coffee shops. Ironclad is a former firehouse and one of the most charming cafés I’ve been to in the US. The music, staff and decor set a great mood. I read about the macadamia nut milk latte so decided to try that. It was smooth. A little sweet for my taste but I enjoyed it. From tables on two levels to couches and the bar, there are several good options on where to sit. I grabbed a table on the second floor and enjoyed the ambiance while doing a little work on my laptop. It was a good find to end my trip in Richmond.

Great coffee shop that I didn’t even know existed. Had a work meeting here so decided to try their specialty Vermont Sugarmaker that was smoked and came with a side of candied bacon (can’t say no to bacon!) and tried their bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I was shocked by how good and big the biscuit was! Watching the employees create my drink was pretty cool, especially when they put it into the glass box to add the smoke flavor (great smell of burning wood as if you were sitting by a campfire, but not an overpowering smell). While the prices seemed a bit higher than I was expecting (it was a work meeting so I wasn’t concerned) I will probably go back, especially for the breakfast biscuit and to try a normal/standard brew. Highly recommend.

Ironclad is a cool unique coffee house. There is a lot of cool seating. Couches, small tables on a loft inside. There is also a lot of outdoor seating. I had an iced chai it was very good. The customer service was great. I really liked the main entrance the couches and the piano were a nice touch. I’m not sure if you’re allowed to play the piano but if you are that would be even cooler.

The best coffee we had in Richmond by far this time. Highly recommend their specialty drinks, just make sure to choose their macadamia milk. We also had the bext egg and cheese sandwich. The biscuit stole the show and was the most delicious we ever had.

Food: very good, an option to warm up would be nice.

Coffee: standard fare, we didn’t try any special flavors… we like our coffee how your mom likes REDACTED…black.

Price: for 2 muffins, 1 pastry and two small coffees, the price with tip and taxes was about $22.

Overall: recommend as a once in a while treat!

Absolutely loved this place! It’s bright and clean. The smells are so intoxicating! The baked items are a feast for the eyes!!! The coffee was high quality and comforting. It had this beautiful crowd of guests on a sunday morning with excited looks on their faces anticipating thier tasty breakfsst and treats. That told me this place was special! The breakfast sandwiches sold out! I’m glad we were able to get some. This was such a cool food experience! One of my favorites so far!! Thank you guys!!!

Our first visit to Whisk was delightful. The turkey pesto crescent was so good we had to go back to order a second. The chocolate almond crescent was perfectly balanced and just sweet enough. Friendly staff and clean environment to enjoy our pastries.

Staff is Excellent, they sre friendly and helpful with ordering and lind enough to give local advice.
Lots of treats and multiple sandwiches to choose from. Flaky and enticing pasteries, huge macaroons, wonderful baguettes, in fact ‘The Partisan’ baguette sandwich is satisfying, the ham had a savory taste, really fresh and the mustard butter is oddly perfect (I do not typically eat mustard), it has the right balance to allow you to taste the rest of the sandwich.
Espresso drinks (even iced) are full of flavor, a correct balance of The chai is so delicious it is filling, yummy and and dreamy.

Extremely cute little bakery. Staff is friendly and the bake case is full of good looking treats. The matcha latte has to be one of the best I’ve found in Richmond. Not to sweet and smooth. The macaroons come in fun flavors like s’mores, mint chocolate and raspberry!

Best bakery! Coffee is superb. Pastries are delicious. Honestly everything is way better than any coffee shop/breakfast place I’ve ever been (trust me I’ve been to MANY). Seriously impressed by this place.

Great walk up coffee shop with a good selection of food such as baked goods and bagels as well as a bit of alcohol and of course amazing coffee. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and the bagels were pretty good as well! This ship also provided free ice water to anyone that asked which is definitely a plus on a hot day.

Came on a Monday morning before Christmas. Wonderful Americano and a cheddar egg biscuit sandwich with a dirty chai and oat milk. Along with the gym biscuit and everything was incredible. So much flavor and every bite and homemade taste. I would definitely come back to Richmond just to go here and everything is beautiful as well. It’s too bad they don’t have any seating since everything is still a to go window but the quality makes up for it.
They definitely earned their five stars.

Stopped by on a busy Sunday morning. They’re still closed from Covid and only taking window orders. The latte was great but the blackberry almond flour biscuit was simply amazing. I’ve had almond flour pastries before that were tasteless and awful. But they definitely have a lock on making that awful diet food taste truly amazing. I’d recommend this stop any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

A popular walk-up cafe that serves all of your favorite coffee drinks. Mines a vanilla latte.
They also have an assortment of pastries and some wine and beer.

Mornings and the weekends are the busiest, so to beat the rush, go early in the am.
