Nice variety of top notch deli sandwiches. Their specials are unique wonderful creative delights! Lots of great coffee concoctions and other drinks. Relaxing low-key atmosphere and live small local bands weekend evenings.

I’ve been coming here all my life and the food has never disappointed me. It really brings back fond memories. However, every time I see back into the kitchen, they are NEVER wearing hair nets or gloves. Most of the ladies have hair past their shoulders and are touching all the food and surfaces, and their faces, with their bare hands. This could get someone sick and or cross contaminate. I’m really troubled and whether I’ll be going back. It’s a true shame.

What a great little coffee shop, Wonderful Coffee nice pastries even a sandwich or a salad that evening there was live music it was so much fun! Kyler Carpenter was there in area children we’re getting up and singing and playing their instruments, it was a wonderful experience plenty of room for everyone.

A wonderful place to sit and chill. The service is fast and friendly. Would probably benefit if they got some new furniture that wasn’t old, dirty, and/or broken

Variety of seating options. Live music and entertainment weekly but check the schedule. Unique food and drink choices, mostly light meals and snacks.

We ordered 5 gallons of hot chocolate and 5 gallons of coffee for our staff for part of our countdown to Christmas break! They all LOVED it!! Great customer service and the drinks are delicious! Highly recommend!! 🙂

Lovely local coffee shop. Friendly at the counter, really delicious coffee (and I got a decaf latte which is too often not nearly as good as a regular) and super quick. Tasty pumpkin bread too. Only tiny complaint, if you can call it that, is the coffee wasn’t really hot enough for carry out. Temp would have been perfect if I’d been sitting there to drink immediately.

AMAZING!!!! Super Duper Yummy!! We live in Wichita but we were here in town to visit my sister this weekend and she recommended this place to us. Definitely will eat here again!:)

The friendliest vibe in Topeka! And hands down the best homemade baked goods for miles: scones, cinnamon rolls, cookies, cake, pie, shortbreads…yum! Great coffee and terrific selection of beers on tap. You want Blackbird’s monthly “always scrumptious” sandwich special. Best homemade soups during the cold months.

Went for a quick breakfast for our trip back to Kansas City. I did order Tomato and cheese sandwich with potato salad. I requested to remove tomato. Sandwich was nice and hot , and potato salad was tasty. I did order cappuccino, small. Did seem like it had only half full, cappuccino was good though! Will go here again for breakfast in our next trip.

Just passing through Topeka, Kansas and we had to stop by Juli’s Coffee & Bistro after reading all the wonderful reviews and seeing all the tasty pictures of the food 😋!! This place will not disappoint you. We had a vanilla latte, blueberry pomegranate smoothie, avocado toast with the onions, tomatoes, and roasted garlic aolio, the breakfast taco burrito, and my husband had the train wreck. All the food/drinks we had were delicious, will definitely stop by here again if I’m in the area. Keep up the great work with all the yummy food and drinks!

First time going to this Cafe.
The menu and Cafe options were clear and balanced.
I order the spiced vanilla latte and the Horse food meal for my breakfast.
The latte is more on the bitter coffee side than sweet vanilla. However, it was a nice change from overly sweet coffee’s.
They had at least 10 different latte options, as well as a Frappuccino option.

The horse food bowl was full of fruit and filling. Worth the price.

The staff were welcoming as we entered and quick with the orders. Smiles all around.

Over all the atmosphere was calm Christmas. Nothing extraordinary. A calm new place to explore for Cafe lovers.

Biscuits and gravy were delicious! My wife loved the unique onion and pepper spin on the avocado toast. Really welcoming staff. Walk friendly location on Kansas Ave.

It’s the look/vibe of a coffee shop but with the layout of a diner. This is the best way I can describe it. The grill cheese with tomato bisque was good, totally recommend. Coffee so far has been hit or miss, sometimes the latte tastes like it has too much milk and feels more like a hot milk beverage than coffee, and other times it’s perfect. The coffee they’re using is smooth and good quality. Overall I do enjoy coming here and will continue to visit. Just wanted to make an honest review.

We have a group that meets monthly. We called ahead and they saved an area for us. The food and service was excellent. Several of us had the special of the day, bacon macaroni and cheese with a salad. It was delicious and quite generous. Every thing was delicious and we even got a wonderful complementary plate of cookies. You can’t beat that!
If you haven’t been there, you need to go. We will be back. Thanks Julie’s!

There are not enough words or stars to express how much I adore this coffee shop, especially the downtown location. You can tell how much Doug pours his heart and soul (and espresso) into his cafe. The art exhibits are cycled every couple of months, I believe. Both locations feature local artists who hang their musings on the walls and into the eyes community, giving everyone (locals and visitors), a chance to connect and even support local businesses and art communities. The ambiance is quiet, warm, and inviting. Their radio is soft enough to have pleasant conversations over but just loud enough to take in your surroundings. In addition, their music selection is broad: from the 60s to current hits – No matter what is on their radio, it adds that extra touch of familiarity. Every Thursday, I stop in with large drink orders, which Nicole and Doug handle like champs. To add, they remember names and orders – and not just mine and my co-workers: Time and time again, I witness a patron walk through the front door, and Nicole or Doug are already preparing that person’s order and greeting them by name and a smile. This coffee shop is a staple and a beloved gem of the Topeka Community. I love this place and I love you, Doug and Nicole! Thank you for making my mornings so warm and bright!

Favorite coffee shop in town. They have THE best rueban sandwich in Topeka. Expresso ON POINT and very attentive staff. Love the atmosphere. Got an iced mocha with double Expresso. Very good will be back

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delicious muffins and coffee. Great atmosphere. Would recommend to others for great coffee. I would also recommend the Fairlawn location.

Carbonated beverages are a bit on the high price but I’ll chalk it up to inflation. Buffalo chicken wrap didn’t really taste like buffalo and the men’s restroom has urine stained seats. If you’re here for coffee it might be worth a look

One of the largest menus in one of the largest cafes I’ve ever seen. It is more like a Viking Mead Hall, but replace the flagons of mead with 20oz cups of freshly roasted exotic coffees from across the globe and replace the Vikings with an assortment of huge breakfast meals and lunch sandwiches. Seriously, the egg & cheese croissant at Classic Bean was bigger than a quarter pound burger. It took a while to come out, but I was super excited when I unwrapped that glorious monster. Big. Big! BIG!! breakfast food here. Enjoyed it so much I went back every morning. And each time they had a different specialty coffee: Ethiopian -> Guatemalan -> Peruvian. An amazing tour of the globe without leaving Topeka, thanks to the Classic Bean!

I found this location on Google when looking for the best coffee and this place did not disappoint. I had the Rose White Mocha and it was amazing., smooth and very tasty. I tried it hot if that matters. They also have food options but I didn’t get any. Will have to try next time. I recommend this place if you like coffee.

Awesome staff, cozy clean place, amazing drinks and food!! Billion stars hands down. Now if we can get another location up north of Topeka. Love the sourdough pepper jack tomato with chipotle sauce egg sandwich. The milk teas (flavors so far…Thai, Taro) with boba (tapioca).

New fav Coffee spot (AND BAKERY) in Topeka! Quaint little spot next to a gas station (not great parking, I will admit) that shouldn’t be overlooked. In the summer, there’s a lovely outdoor space to relax; while it is very small, it has a lot to offer!! Bakery items are TOP notch (I was sad when Joseys Bakery closed)- and coffee is full of flavor! Staff is kind and polite- Highly recommend

Since discovering, this has become my coffeeshop of choice.
